Agreed - that Inter 3-1 win on my 26th birthday is easily my favourite WHL experience. Wembley will need to be rocking and almost full in order to top the Glory Glory nights under the lights at WHL.

As an aside I'd imagine that if we get 80,000+ for each of the Wembley games in the UCL it will help in negotiations for naming rights at the new stadium. Nobody will be keen to sponsor a stadium that is half empty most of the time so its important we demonstrate that we can fill 61k regularly (if the ticket pricing is smart).
Good shout!

Chelsea might but not always. City certainly don't
Their Champions Leagues games do, I know because a group of us go to their big matches if we can get tickets but its a struggle to get tickets and usually limited to just four:whistle:
Weren't a lot of you worrying yesterday we may set a record low attendance at Wembley?
I think people forgot that it was only one per member before that

I am disappointed the club didnt allow members to buy more than one ticket before it went to general sale

This is exactly why Chelsea tried so hard to stitch us up with Wembley and rushing their own redevelopment.

A sold out Wembley is hugely attractive to investors and potential naming rights partners.

I really wish people would stop talking about tourists etc and the fact that tickets in a 90k seater stadium went on general sale. You can pretty easily get Barcelona v Real Madrid tickets with flights and a hotel for about 90 quid. It's a hell of a lot of people and it's an achievement to sell it out, even if there will be some tourists on their ipads all night...

And the good thing is that the iPad-wielding tourist crew will be up in the Gods - the first two tiers and the closer parts of the upper tier will largely be committed Spurs fans.

Hopefully the FA will see sense and move some England and lower division play off games away from Wembley next season and free it up for us to use the full capacity for some of the bigger league games.

I think they're planning to play more matches around the country anyway as they did for the pre-Euro warmups.
