well I got through - and had the tkts ready to buy and then it said - postal method - may need a signature

i've never dealt with these people before

obviously I can't guarantee to be in as i and the wife work -

tried to phone up tkt master for further details - couldn't get through

if I'm not in - do they stick them through the letter box anyway - do I have to go to Post Office to sign for them - any kind person got that info - it's much more difficult than booking with spurs online I have to say

Do you work somewhere you can get them delivered to? I always get deliveries to work, as the front desk sign for everything, therefore negating the need for me to actually be there.

P.S. it kind of depends on the postie you have, but the likelihood is that they will leave a "we tried to deliver" card and you will have to go to the sorting office to get them.

Worst ticket booking system ever. You can choose if you ring up though mate

Nope, just spent 10mins waiting to get through to be told that they only have the same screens as us and the preseale is LIMITED blocks.

LIMITED BLOCKS?! LIMIT the Spurs fans to their own fucking games?

Wankers.

thanx for advice again WS :)

I'm not sure about work - I'll think that one thru - I don't mind going to the sorting office to sign for them

it's much harder to phone up tktmaster now the rush is on

suppose I should have thought this through before

but tktmaster is all new to me

I expect the initial rush will die down soon and then I can talk to someone there

actually I don't mind the limitations for the pre-sale - it presumably means we'll be in with the Spurs fans

Yeah, you'll need to sign for them and (possibly, it seems about 50/50) show them some sort of ID...

They don't use Royal Mail, they (usually) use a company called SMS (special mail services), if you miss your delivery you phone them up and they'll send them out again the next day...

It's a lot more complex than Spurs, but an awful lot more secure!

If Spurs tickets get lost, they can always issue duplicates... most of the events ticketmaster deals with are standing, which means duplicates can't be issued, which means they have to be a lot more careful!

Please Note...
There will be no access to or from Wembley Stadium via the Jubilee Line on Sunday 26th July due to engineering works. Other closures will also be taking place across the rail network. Please visit http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews to check for how these may affect your journey. The Metropolitan, Bakerloo, London Overground and Chiltern Railways services will be operating as normal however with higher than usual demand expected, visitors are advised to consider alternate arrangements where possible.

Aah... They're making us feel at home by shutting down one of the lines, how sweet :)

It's becuase the £49 tickets are heavier.....

£29 - £1.90
£39 - £3.00
£49 - £3.25
£59 - £3.25

How comes the £29 tickets are over £1 cheaper each on service? There's no extra service in the more expensive tickets.

Wankers.

I know, it's a fucking joke... but they know people will pay it, so they charge it

Yep, for that reason we've gone with the cheap seats this time, block 551 right up in the gods.

Edit: just beem confirmed we got the weekend ticket, so four matches for £50 ain't quite so bad, even if I only wanna watch two of them.

If you miss the delivery it should be easy to rearrange it DC - I guess I've been lucky but whenever I've had tickets delivered from Ticketmaster before they've always arrived on a Saturday! Tickets bought online can only be delievered to the address the credit card is registered to. I don't know if the same applies if you buy them by phone.

Thanx for that chris - have some rep - wow it's well complicated - I got my tkts anyway -

hope I don't need to buy tickets that way again

I suppose as i'm almost certain to miss the delivery I'll have to take a day off work - ridiculous the things I do for my spurs obssession :)

thanx for info Max - have some rep :)

what a performance - obviously security needs to be in place - it's hard work though

to think my Spurs obssession started out as a kid when you just went with your mates and got to the stadium early if it was a big game

Anyone wanting to get through to speak to them straight away ring 0161 385 1135, puts you straight through to an operator, first bloke gave me another number to ring, but that didn't work so I rang back and the second bloke took the booking.

This is digusting. Extra £9 for three tickets what a joke:cry:. This sort of thing should be outlawed.
Spurs Barca @ Wembley is gonna be amazing though:grin:.

funny thing is it was dead easy to get in for the 'real thing' - the spurs barca ecwc semi final in 82

I just went along and got in no proble and even allowing for inflation - i bet it was alot cheaper too
