for some reason both spurs and chelsea were told to order the wrong amount of flags by someone at wembley.

in the end we removed some from the sections where the spurs staff will be sitting so there should be one on every other seat now

Gettiing excited now! Picked up my ticket today, got a 5-1 mug, Glory Glory CD and the Carling Cup Final 125th anniversary shirt.

Paxton presents the Spurs flag for the day. When they heard we were doing this, Chelsea jumped on the bandwagon but theirs is rubbish. Just has their name and crest, no mention of the occasion.

Paxton scales the heights. This is roughly where he'll be watching the game tomorrow. It's the first time I've had a match ticket where the location is given in altitude coordinates.

While we were there they tested out the electronic boards, so up went "Congratulations Tottenham Hotspur 2008 Carling Cup Winners!" Amazing how we managed to win, because we also has "Substitution for Tottenham Cerny on for Boateng" :shrug:

There was a stadium warning of a pyrotechnics test and sure enough these huge flames shot out of machines arund the perimeter.

It was a fun day out. We finished by lunchtime so were back at WHL by 3pm.
