If anything this stinks of Sneijders agent attempting to drum up interest in his client before January. It wouldn't be the first time we have been used to help a player get a new contract or a move to club who can pay big wages.

Too bad i dont know the adress of his agent he's supposed to live here like 10 minutes away from me. The only good thing about the agent (soren lerby) is that he isnt known for doing everything for money.. He's the type of agent that prefers the sportive aspect above money... advised him not to go to russia for instance.

Tancredi Palmeri an Italian Journo for CNN has been beating the Sneijder to Spurs drum all day on Twitter and confirmed VdV has definitely talked to Sneijder about the move. This would be the biggest coup since VdV but I am not getting excited yet, been far too many false dawns of signing top quality players to be disappointed.

If there is any truth in that statement, I would say it would wear very thin after a while.
We did get VDV though, so there is precedence for such an audacious move.
