i've got, i believe, 52 loyalty points, so it sounds like it could go either way. regardless, so long as i find out within the next few days (which it sounds like i will), i'll have no problems.

on the subject of kenilworth road, incidentally, i'm actually going on the following tuesday night. i've got a real soft spot for the traditional english grounds that are becoming fewer and fewer, and i've heard nothing but wonderful/awful (marmite-like) things about it ... which make me suspect that i'll love it.

it was one thing when, 10-15 years ago, top flight clubs (many of whom are no longer top flight) started leaving their traditional sites for the sterile sites and stadiums away from the neighborhoods - i suppose the money made it inevitable - but seeing places like saltergate and layer road go away makes you realize that the traditional english professional football ground simply isn't long for this world.

now, i'll grant that i'm not going every week, so those who do might have damn good reasons for preferring the likes of pride park/walkers/st mary's to the baseball grounds/filbert street/the dell ... but it all rings hollow to me. so when i schedule a spurs-based holiday such as is coming up, i try to fit in matches at places like griffin park, loftus road, and older grounds further afield. so while this trip is planned around west ham away and twente on wednesday, fratton park on friday and kenilworth road on tuesday are inked in, as well. and, despite the fact that i have no real concerns for pompey or luton town, i'm looking forward to all of 'em.

Pook, you will find out Wednesday i believe. Check the Spurs website tomorrow as they might say the loyalty point cut off then, but it will be no later than Wednesday.

I would guess that you will be fine for a ticket though. Once you have seen the loyalty point cut off log in to eticketing, go to your booking history and it should be updated with your seat details and price of ticket.

On the original point, best check with TfL that weekend as there is likely to be Tube works. District line is down most weekends (Upton Park) and Jubilee Line (West Ham) maybe down too.

DLR to canning town then a bus, or C2C to West Ham or Barking and a bus.

I seem to recall one season was as low as 60 odd loyalty points. Pretty sure my 413 season ticket loyalty points should be enough to get me in

I think I got them on general sale two seasons ago. It was real good fun but only because we battered them. Journey back was shit and the area and fans are digusting. It was awesome when Gomes made a great double save and then O'Hara scored a screamer.

In their cup final.
