I used to know a bird who lived 30secs from the New Den, she is of Iranian descent which didn't go down well, she used to get shouted at if she left the flat on match days.

I hated waiting at that station on my own.

Was also once caught up in a riot between Coventry and Millwall fans whilst living in Coventry, one lot smashed my parked car up, fuckers.

They really are a bunch of feral animals.

I don't really understand why the FA allow Millwall fans to travel to away games if they continue to act like complete twats wherever they go. It was the same with Cardiff when they came to the lane a couple of years ago. If they need a police escort to and from the game and to be caged into park lane for everyone's safety, then don't fucking let them travel next time!

Hooliganism is pathetic and the people who go to get involved are morons. Fact.

I travelled with the Cardiff lot that year. I was pretty scared and it was horrible sitting in WHL amongst non-spurs fans!

I went to the Cardiff away FA Cup game a couple of seasons ago. That was fun.

As was being in Krakow, Seville and Anderlecht.

No, I'm not a hooligan though.

Eek

No wonder they have such problems! That looks a proper shithole!
I've always wanted to go since I was about 18, just to see if it was all it's cracked up to be.

Not sure I will tbh.

The scariest footballing thing (and it's tame tbh) that happened to me was when I went to see a West Ham game (not involving spurs) off the cuff. I was down in London and fancied seeing a game (spurs weren't playing) so I popped along.

I went to the Boleyn pub near the ground, dressed all anonymous like. It was heaving full of west ham fans. I went to the pub to get a drink, and totally forgot about my spurs membership card in the visible display bit of my wallet. As I had my wallet open to pay, some massive cockney geezer gave me a "nudge" and said "what the fuck is that mate" whilst pointing at the card....

He just stared at me and didn't say anything else. I was bricking it, and needless to say, left before anything else was said!
I have also been to that pub before watching west ham-coventry. Nice place, but that was before the west ham fans started to arrive. The owner took away all things that could be used as weapons etc.

I left all the stuff which could give away that i supported spurs at the hotel so i felt pretty safe anyway.

Ah good old ninian park aye?! :) I went there a fair bit last season when I couldn't afford to go to London. It's 5 minutes from my house! New stadium is nice though but I'm wondering whether it'll retain the..."atmosphere" that the ninian had. My guess is probably not :(

Cheers bud,

Noticing nothing nice being said about them at all! Its a silly sport when it gets to this level of intimidation.

I'm sure the Cardiff fans will be able to throw coins at the away fans in the new stadium.

I'll probably try and get a ticket for this one. I expect there'll be some trouble somewhere, which seems inevitable, but more importantly it should be a cracking atmosphere within the ground, something that you see less and less of in the PL these days.

It's a shame that we can't play Millwall more regularly - it can be a bit of a forgotten rivalry, what with them being all the way down there in league 1.

 ouch! Well i won't deny cardiff fans are very....passionate.

Oh ok a lot of em are pure scum, I'll admit it! Ninian park was a very intimidating place....

The pub round by me is a soul crew pub! Eek

I remember last year when Arsenal were drawn to play cardiff in the cup, there was word going around for weeks about how the soul crew planned to smash some pubs (in their own city for christ sake which shows you their brain power) and run the gooners out of town (which they did), and on the return leg they chased a bunch of arsenal fans straight down Holloway road.

Animals really

Even though they are south of the river, it would be great to see millwall take the bubbles down a few more pegs, however i do have a little afection for West Ham, family ties etc..
