Could Hooliganism come back into the game? I mean there are a lot of angry people out there at the moment who are unemployed, directionless and looking for something to take out their aggression on. You can see something like this game kickstarting a revival of violence

Clearly at the very least they should be kicked out of the tournament and also banned from this seasons FA Cup, you could even ban them from any european qualification for 5 years, FIFA will be monitoring this one so i'd expect the FA to come down very hard on West Ham, I'd go for automatic relegation, bans from both cup competitions and 5 year European ban, And that goes for any club that can't handle this sort of event in the future.

Well, welll, well... I was disgusted at some of the reaction that was posted on KUMB after they lost to us on Sunday, and I remember someone predicting this was going to happen in Spurs Chat.

I don't usually like to tar supporters with the same brush because, as with all sets of supporters, some are good, some let the club down. However, for one night only, I'm going to...

West Ham Fans, you really are just pikey scum, and you disgust me. Seriously, if you want to be Milwall, fine, be Milwall. However, don't come bleating to us about how Spurs are your rivals because we're not, and if you're going to behave in the shameful manner that you did tonight, you and Milwall are absolutely perfect for each other.

May you get deducted points, then relegated, then relagated again, so I never have to share a stadium with you ever again.

AN ABSOLUTE BLOODY DISGRACE.

Personally I think things will pass off peacefully.
The most which happens these days is someone posts on youtube a group of fans chanting in a pub or behind a police escort. It's all abit sad really.

humble pie is in the oven

Just reading on KUMB too, all arguing amongst themselves. Never seen anyone so happy to beat a lower league team :-0 )

Yeah, i had a quick look to see what their fans thought of it. Totaly split.

cant belive some think its nothig and just a 'few' fans showing passion by going onto the pitch. But at least alot are not happy by the way some have acted.

What I don't understand is that we knew this would happen, Millwall knew it would happen, West Ham knew it would happen and yet seemingly bugger all was done to actually prevent it happening.

Millwall fans cause trouble wherever they go...so why are they allowed to go anywhere? And as for West Ham surely they have to do something after this...pitch invasions after you score a goal against a league one club really is pathetic and although it was a minority it was still a significant minority.

I genuinely think they should be thrown out of the tournament...not being able to control a rogue idiot is fine but allowing that sort of interruption to a game when you know exactly what is coming is just mickey mouse behaviour.

Don't be surprised to see good old Trevor Brooking being wheeled out tomorrow, preaching the virtues of West Ham's 'best fans in the world', whilst deflecting as much shit is possible away from them.

Just got back from this match, some mates had a spare ticket so thought i might aswell go, and . . bloody hell what an experience.

 film Green Street 3

Funny you should say that, walking up from the station it was a bit like that and pretty fucking scary. For starters upton park station was shutdown before the match so we had to get off at east ham and walk up to the stadium. We pretty much walked up with Millwall supporters who, to be fair weren't violent, just mouthy as fuck. Anyone familiar with the estate behind the east stand (priory road side) where the tower blocks are that you have to walk through? Well as we walked through there, there were about 30 west ham thugs on the corner waiting for Millwall lads, being among them we put our heads down and got the hell outta there. A couple of millwall guys got a bloody serious kicking. It was pretty surreal. Got chased onto Priory road, one of my mates got hit in the head with a can of beer. Luckily there were a shitload of riot police outside the stadium otherwise it wouldve been a lot messier. Btw west ham morons got a lot of balls, they tried to charge into the police on horses haha. First half generally wasnt too bad, i was sitting in the bobby moore uppper. Seemed like just a few millwall fans sitting in the home stands got chucked out,it kicked off properly in the second half - i assume when word got round that the west ham fan got stabbed. As far as i could tell 90% of the stadium trouble was caused by west ham fans, and most of what i saw outside aswell. Bloody west ham.

by the way, apparently in the last few days the match was downgraded by the police then slightly upgraded again. and yesterday all tickets bought by non west ham members were refunded (or they tried to refund them - advised by police)

Just checking. Do we know for sure it was a Millwall fan who stabbed a W Ham fan? Not quite such a silly question when the chavs are involved...

Can i just say, all the media stuff and everyone else making a huge thing about it , will just make it worse, these people WANT the front page and to be called mindless thugs or whatever, it adds to the reputation they want. Im sure the Tottenham, Chelsea etc.. firms are going to be thinking we want some of that rep and will start to kick of more. That said i could be wrong but i reakon its gunna create a bit of a domino effect.

After watching the scenes on SSN, anybody else feeling incredibly sorry for the stewards? They have no protections, no helmets and they were at the front line of all the aggresive behaviour.

did the old bill not expect it would kick off??? every bloody off duty police officer in london should been on detail duty....

why on earth would west ham sell non members tickets???? again did they not half expect it would go pear shaped?????

i bet millwall appeal for a replay because west ham fans were intimidating their players. when the trouble started why did the referee not abandon the match?????

these blokes that just ran on the pitch. morons. there is cctv everywhere inside the ground. they will end up locked up and have a lifetime ban.

as has already been mentioned hammers also have decent fans but looks like their going to get punished too because i cant see how they can allow hammers away with just a fine for this one? either they will get kicked out of the comp (which imo isnt likely) or they will have to play their next home game in the comp behind closed doors which will mean fans of their next home opponents in the cup will be punished because they wont be able to go to the game.
its going to be a tough one for the FA deciding on the punishment. such a shame that this will overshadow what jack collison did, i could never imagine myself being able to do that a few days after your old man passed away but that story is going to get buried under all the headlines and photos about the twats, shame

 Are you for real?

The pitch invasions were hardly the end of the world. There seemed to be an innordinate amount of morons at that game last night - which was to be expected tbh - but running on to the pitch when your team score is hardly a new thing. If that had been Millwall at the Orient then SSN wouldn't have even covered it.

The running battles outside the ground are of course a different thing and should be dealt with accordingly, but it's hardly like hooliganism has been extinct and West Ham and Millwall have suddenly brought it back. After all Spurs are one club that seems to have more wannabee little oiks than most.
