Although the transfer window is still in full flow and we could magically acquire a WC striker or two....what are you most looking forward to this season?

It could be visiting a new ground, seeing a certain player develop, random European away trips or what not.

For me there are a few:
1. Having been busy over the last few years I've not had the chance to get to more than a handful of games each season at best. Already got 7 home tickets booked for this season and looking to get a few more + some away so I'm really excited about actually seeing more games and feeling the buzz that you don't get anywhere else.

2. Norwich away - plenty of friends who support them and want to go there and do them over big style :)

3. Martin Jol at WHL - Loved the big fella when he was at Spurs and think he will get a brilliant reception when he returns.

4. A cup run - I've got a good feeling that a really good cup run and possible silverware is due this season.

That's what I'm most excited about at the moment, could well change if we sign some new players.

(Shall we try and keep it an upbeat thread rather than one of doom and gloom?)

A fully fit Gareth Bale and VDV. Also, I think we could surprise a few people in the league this season.

1 - More games. Got a Lilywhite membership for the first time and will try and catch a lot more games. Fingers crossed I'll finally get to see a NLD.
2 - New striker. Want to see us racking the goals up with some new talent up front.
3 - A decent crack at the Europa League.
4 - Seeing how well we can do, given our inactivity, 5th place finish and the Modric saga, that means we are probably being seen as outsiders or underdogs again.

- Sandro
- Bale (looks like he has added loads of stepovers to his game)
- Hopefully seeing Walker progress. There will be games where he makes defensive mistakes (sometimes big ones maybe) but he will come through it in the end
- Please g-d seeing our new striker sign and hit the ground running
- Seeing Caulker impress at Swansea. I've been following his progress closely and so far so very good.

That's actually the thing I'm looking forward to the least, that day will be more about Martin Jol than it will be for supporting Spurs I fear.

However I literally cannot wait to get back to the Irish Centre for a pint of the Black Stuff

Us sneaking up on the outside and surprising everyone. Pav hitting 22 prem goals (if he stays). The premier league trophy at WHL in May. Huddlestone/Sandro 25 yard netbusters. 3 consecutive Ledley King appearances.

I reserve the right to update expectations as the season progresses/regresses!

I hate to say it but without a striker I'm not that excited about the new season.

We could possibly sneak an FA Cup win?

Here's hoping we get that striker!

A shiny new top notch striker.
Come the end of the transfer window if we don't have that I feel it's going to be a tough frustrating and disappointing season.

Finally beating the Mancs in the league (4-0 - you heard it here, first:wink:).

And winning the EPL, of course:beer:
