What Bryan Gil had to say about Tottenham and why he has rediscovered his form at Valencia

Spain U21 boss Luis De la Fuente has claimed that Tottenham winger Bryan Gil is flourishing at Valencia because of the trust shown in him by manager Jose Bordalas. The 21-year-old joined the La Liga side on loan in January after failing to settle at Spurs.

But I don't agree with the "after failing to settle" part of the headline.

The lad settled well & showed promise. Conte just felt he'd benefit more from regular game time & bulking up a little.

Bryan admitted himself that he knew what he needed to do after discovering how fast & physical the PL is, and was going to work hard to achieve what's necessary for him to be a success for us.

I think, while we've all been filling the wishlist threads, we've forgotten all about this lad & what he could (potentially) bring to the side.

He's a clever player, who will undoubtedly benefit from us adding players such as Deki & Bentancur to the squad.

Yeah i use the Brave browser and turn scripts off for the site. makes it much easier to read.
