I think that their midfield above is stronger than ours!

Diarra and Denilson could cause us problems, but Diaby has been mostly toot this season—and that's from Gooners. Remember he was absolute rubbish at the Lane? How Wenger can put the planet's most right-footed player at LM escapes me, but there you go. Wallmart hasn't been particularly impressive either.

Over on Arsenal-Mania they are desperately hoping that Wenger will play Gallas at CB and Clichy at LB.

Playing Diaby as LM is definitely not his strongest role. In fact, he is pants when he plays him there. He is a central midfielder.

If Wenger wants to win he should play Diaby and Diarra in the middle with Hleb and Walcott on the wings.

I can see Clichy and Gallas starting. Senderos is their Dawson and Troare was completely owned by Lennon last year,

I have a £50 bet with my other half. He reckons that over the two legs the following players won't take part (they have to get some time on the pitch for me to win):
Febregas, VanPersie, Adebayor, Hleb, Rosicky, Flamini, Toure, Clichy, Eboue, Sagna, Almunia, Lehman and Gallas!!!!!!!!

arsenal fans think a whole lot of their players are rubbish so don't rely on those idiots.

and the most right-footed player on the planet has scored against blackburn with his left foot and in the fa cup game against burnley he put a good cross into the box with his left foot (i think gilberto headed it wide or something). he definitely prefers his right powerful right leg, but his left isn't completely useless.

All of them?... Toure and Eboue won't, as they'll have buggered off to the ANC... Depending on tomorrow's score, you'll get Fabregas, Adebayor, Clichy, Hleb and Rosicky involved either in the starting line-up or on the bench at the Lane, and possibly Almunia starting...

if we beat them in the first leg you can guarantee they will put out a very strong team in the second leg. They wont want to get knocked out by us, Iam hoping that we go all at them though and score 3 or 4 tonight and then the second leg they have no chance

You know what, sod the goat.

I want a win, and by at least two goals please. Come on Ramos, get them fired up.

I'll have some of that £50 bet as well. But only if they all have to play...

Their first team just beat us without King/JJ/Bale/Zoko/Dawson etc. So we are defo in with a shout tonight. Least i expect is a score draw, and after last year our boys have got to be so up for this.

Only fair that they play the kids, after all we played ours there in the league match, kids or no kids I bet their central midfield will have more than one premiership start under their belt.

We will beat them as we would have beat their strongest 11 in the league if we'd had at least one more regular in the team.

CAN'T WAIT FOR TONIGHT

I think you've lost your money already, Toure and Eboue are off to the africans so unless they are both in the side tonight (or have they already gone?) they won't both come off the bench and won't be around for the 2nd leg.

nah he's already won 50 because gilberto will most likely start since diarra isn't in the team and van persie will probably get a run out off the bench.

That's if we beat Chelsea too!! Beating a bunch of kids, is nothing to shout home about. Even worse, if we lose. Bit anxious about going into work, thursday onwards. too many fucking gooners.

Are you guys f*cking kidding me? A win is a win. I want to go to a cup final - I don't give a damn if we beat Arsenal's first XI, their second XI, their "kids," or damned Havant and Waterlooville to get there. Seriously? Is this a freaking joke? We can only beat what's put in front of us, anyway.

Teams in Soon, then we can see how much we are going to win by

it seems that Thrashing has won the day (bad luck goat lovers)

still i'm happy with a thrashing (oooh, Matron  )
