What do you think of the England Supporter's Band?

Personally I prefer the atmosphere of singing.

I think they're are great. Especially if the crowd are singing to the songs they are playing.

Ah, but his horn probably doesn't squeak, cos he's just produced a sprog! :wink:

I see by the votes so far, only one person thinks the England Band rock.....maybe they'll tone it down a bit and just strike up every 20 mins or so? :razz:

I hate them. They were good as a bit of novelty but they're just awful and tired now. I was listening to Scotland fans belting out songs during their game with Norway with much envy. This band were even banned from Sheffield Wednesday (they were formerly the Wednesday band).


I really despise them.

I agree that it's such a fake artificial attempt at creating *atmosphere*.
To me the real atmos is created by the likes of the Krakow fans singing, which was superb, and the prolongued singing by Spurs fans home or away, rather than incessant repetition of that crap band's tedious naff tunes.

When we went to Germany for the world cup, we always gauged how good our tout tickets were by how close we were to the official band.

Thought they were great until we sat next to them for one game, I ended up almost deaf in one ear because of that fucking band.

Now, not bothered one way or tother tbh.

I dont like the atmosphere from the England fans. There seems to be far too many families and the atmosphere at Wembley is not intimidating at all. Its loud but squeeky. Its nothing like Club Football. And i do find the songs annoying too. Especially that "we're on the ball" chant. It sucks. And truth be told, realistically its more like "we're on the ball, we've lost the ball, we're on the ball again, we've lost the ball again, oh wait we're on the ball, no we're not, yes we are, oh wait hang on, damn they've scored."
