Ok, i really just think he got burnt out too much and then with afew injuries we havnt seen the same Lennon for awhile, hopefully with Ramos in and gepping a tighter grip of fitness and what players eat/drink we may get the Lennon back that runs with the ball and tries to go passed more people like in that clip! Also teams worked him out, afew early kicks into him slows him down due to him getting pissed off and complaining instead of going at them again and getting them sent off, maybe just me that thinks that but in games he seemed to be getting lazy... did start to improve towards the end of this season though

God, he actually looks amazing in that video. That is the only reason why we should keep him, because we have seen what he can do. I just really dont know whats gone wrong this season. Maybe got a bit lazy, he spent a lot of this season passing the ball back to chimbonda when he should have been running with the ball. Would be great if he coudl re-find that form.

he's still there, only a victim of double or triple marking which he hasn't quite managed to work his way around yet.

Hopefully with Modric in our side next year he won't suffer as much from that.

Its still inside him somewhere, Ramos just needs to find a way to draw it out of him.

In the past few games he has looked quality.

I agree, he improved at the end of the season, but only in comparison to his god awful start to the season.

If you compare his best bits this season, to the likes of that vid clip, for example, it'll be like watching a different player.. Remember how dangerous he was? Even for England..

And then suddenly...

A mixture of confidence (which i think was brought on by playing with an injury) and defenders doubling or even tripling up on him.

The problem is that as a team we haven't yet learnt how to capitalise on the extra space left by the 2 extra guys on Lenny.

'Tis true the Wigan game was Aaron in full flight . So hard to know why form seems so erratic . You get the feeling that injury isn't the whole story.

exactly.. spot of cunning editing going on there to avoid showing that actually he ran round half the opposition and the passed it to the corner flag

i think injuries and he lost it a bit in his head too after that bad run of form (just happens sometimes)

Also i think defenders have learned his game and how to close him down and phase him out of games....he has to counter that

It is because he is still young. Young athletes in all sports have this problem of inconsistency, but at Spurs we like to crucify players who suffer from it.

I tend to agree. For example people ripped owen for a few years after 'that' arsentina goal, because as he matured he added more to his game and didn't run at players anymore.

It is a confidence thing. Play him in a team that is on top of its collective game and you'll see that Lennon.
