There's been a few heart attacks at the Lane recently if I remember correctly. It won't be long before we will have to undergo a full medical before being able to buy tickets at this rate.

Pleased the bloke yesterday seems to be doing OK and hope he makes a full recovery

Just heard an update from my friend, and thought i'd share it with you all:

"The news from the hospital today is positive. The staff are very pleased with dad and he's taken a few steps! He will see the consultant tomorrow and the neurologist on Thursday. Then they will decide what to do next. All his tests have come back negative and the symptoms he's showing are normal after everything that he's been through but they just want to double check. The staff at the hospital are brilliant and his one to one nurse is lovely. We couldn't have asked for a more positive outcome at this stage of his recovery"

It seems like all the staff and medical workers at the lane have yet again saved someone's life. Many of us see all these people at the games and barely pay them a second thought, but thank god they are all there to help when something does go wrong.

Too right. As wrong as it sounds but the best place to have a heart attack is a football ground these days as you will get paramedics within minutes. So glad to hear he's doing ok.

"Here's your one to one nurse, bomber. Be nice to him. He's 6'7" and a little self-conscious about his height. Anyway, here he is, say hello to Desmond."
