What is everyone waiting for?

We have made several big money signings, but the rest of the premier league seems to be waiting for something.

It cant be because everyone is waiting for the Ronaldo saga to be sorted surely? There is talk of Newcastle and the spammers having to sell before they buy, Fulham have made a couple of signings but they were all bosmans/low money buys, I thought everyone was enjoying record TV payments????
