I'm away with work at the moment and the Burnley team are staying in the same hotel as me, realised they were at Accrington Stanley last night so went down and joined the 3100 who saw Stanley beat Burnley in the last min of extra time. Not a game full of goals or action but still quite good fun.

Quote of the evening as a Burnley player went down softly:
Get up you tart...
before turning to the women behind
...Sorry love

Another ground to have ticked off the list, not that I am anywhere near the 92 :)

It's just the League Cup. We join in the third round. We play Gillingham at home on 20th September.

I like the competition, I've seen the likes of Kane, Mason and Rose come through this competition in the last few seasons.

Today highlights to me the difference between a big and small club, even when comparing Prem teams.

Sunderland had 13,000 people in a 49,000 stadium, even though it was only against Shrewsbury that's embarrassing, we'll still sell out for Gillingham.
Not without doing "Kids for a quid" or something.

Good chance to see the Spurs of the future....something like; -
Vorm/New Spanish dude
Trippier CCV Wimmer Davies
Winks Wanyama
Son Onomah GKN
Janssen

With Harrison, Edwards, KWP and other up and comers to be given a run out.

Leicester beating Chelsea. Comedy of errors by Chelsea leading up to it. Nice finish by Okazaki though

Leicester's refs are back - Chelsea had a goal wrongly disallowed and a blatant penalty not given in the first ten minutes.

But fuck Chelsea.
