Plus I don't the find Premiership experience argument to be that compelling either. We have had players like Bony, Rodwell, Johnson, Sinclair and now Delph that were all premiership proven. Sane was bought from BuLi and he is on par with Raheem if not better even though he has no prior experience of the league. Our best players in the recent past have had no prior experience in premiership either.

What this guy is missing is that Rodwell, Johnson, Sinclair and Delph were all easy signings made because they needed to sign English players. They were Premier League proven - proven to be average to decent players for the likes of Sunderland and Villa but would rarely get a kick for Man City but were only there because they couldn't sign any more foreign players.

What's the deal with their hatred of Milner?
agreed, a bit part player that city muled, in multiple positions, never really appreciated him while he was there then your club lets him walk on a free, so they could pursue better options. And he's the snake who betrayed you just because he's become an average left back for an overrated liverpool side. Goes to show fans get what they deserve sometimes.

lol, I still don't understand why city fans hate him?

Milner has supposedly made numerous comments about being happier at Liverpool/being in a better team at Liverpool than he ever was at City, and some City fans take issue with him claiming he was leaving in order to play central midfield and now playing left-back.

I can therefore understand City fans thinking he's a prick but their current hatred for him seems disproportionate.

I mean, I hate Chirches with a burning passion because of his insinuation that we were a stepping stone to Chelsea. So easy to to get sucked into those petty resentments.

But fuck you vlad !

Please by all means correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it his agent who actually made that comment?

They hate us because we beat them in a cup final once many years ago and the winning goal gets shown occasionally it was an exceptional goal - which would be kinda like us having a pathological hatred of Coventry

I have a pathological hatred of Coventry

Not because of the football mind, because my wife comes from there and I associate the City with my loss of freedom :banghead::p

"I mean that. If he cuts out the diving, overacting, snide digs and bad tackles then, in this team, he'll be one of the best LB's in the world. :stop:
I'd prefer any of Bernat, Gaya, Sidibé and Henrichs though among others. And not because I think they're better."

^^ this wound me up a lot more than it should've. It's like saying if Titus Bramble added strength, the ability to tackle, reading of the game and 3 extra inches on his height, he'd be one of the best in the game. Or if Messi didn't score goals, dribble or take a good free kick, he'd be shit. That's part of why I'm wound up, I mean, Rose barely does any of those things anyway but the worst thing about that post was that he added 'in this team'. What a ****. He's already in the team with the best defensive record in the league for the last 2 seasons. But nooooo, in that team he'll be a decent left back. And then he picks 4 random names from football manager who he's obviously never seen play because he seemingly doesn't even watch English football judging by the Rose comments, the know-nothing twatting thunder****.
