What 9/11 bollocks? What did they do?

Brendan Rogers went to the 9/11 site with Liverpool scarves. They said that they identified with the people of New York because they'd suffered the tragedy of Heysel.

It was a disgusting attempt to win a fan base off the back of 2 tragedies that were totally unrelated.

I'm paraphrasing somewhat, but the whole thing was a transparent attempt to garner a sympathy following.

I hold that entire disgusting club in contempt for that. I've never once seen Man U try to use the Munich air crash as a PR exercise. Only pond scum would stoop that low.

Man City fans saying we have a better attack them then an we move the ball quicker up the pitch, we've arrived lads :woot:

We don't have better attackers than them individually but as a whole ours work harder and want to win more, I'd say. Players are paid too much there too

As a unit when we are on song we are as good as anyone but they have better individual brilliance.

More rival fans taking the piss out of Kane's speech. You'd be sucking his shaft dry if he was banging in 20+ goals a season for you, dickheads.

It's so pathetic, people posting it all over social media like it's their only desperate claw at anything negative they can say about him. Pricks.

A guy on redcafe posted this:

Whenever I see him play, or hear him speak, I honestly think he is dim as feck. Like he would need help making a round of toast dim. Is he just in the way and the ball hits him and goes in? He can't have a great football brain when his normal brain barely works.

Some people called him out on that. Rightly so.

Are you new to this forum or other Spurs forum? Unfortunately there are so called Spurs fans who are just as bad.
Maybe I am lucky to have dodged those bullets or just literally read right through those kind of posts.

Looking at the Chelsea shed end forum discussing our upcoming game makes me despise these arrogant chav ****s even more. I really want to end their little tin pot win record and really hope we smash them to pieces.

I hope people aren't sh*tting their pants because they beat a terrible side. Utd made them look average and we ended their so called unbeaten run. It won't be an easy game but I'm very confident of a victory.

Would that be the so-called unbeaten run that was called an unbeaten run because we were...er...unbeaten for a run of games? That so-called unbeaten run?

Fecking spoonhead

Lol from the Shed End:

Little scary that Alli and Kane is in such form before Wednesday.

And in response:

Kane is not a big game player. Come to think of it none of them have the mentality to cope with pressure and big monents

Have they actually seen his record in London derbies?

Did they not see his two goal performance on new years day two years ago at the Lane against Chelsea? Or were they too hungover?

Is that true, or just your interpretation of their visit? I can't find any reference to how they identify with them the victims because of Heysel?

I thought they were just on a pre season tour of the US and were in New York so went and laid a wreath at Ground Zero. Didn't they do the same at the site of the Boston bombings?

I get it seemed a little crass they were all dressed in their Liverpool ties and the wreath had Liverpool FC on it, which probably had some sort of, "hey look Liverpool FC care", but not sure it was as bad as you seemed to think, all IMHO of course

Surely it'd be Hillsborough rather than Heysel, they don't tend to mention Heysel all that often...

I wonder why!

It's pretty much ignored by the media in this country. I wonder if it's still mentioned in Italy? (I've no idea).
