Comments from Arsemania during our game:

Since that goal against Chelsea Eriksen has been on fire.

Alderweireld in that back 3 is some player. Pinging the ball around with ease.

Spuds are looking good. They're about as good as us, but their squad cost much less. How is that possible?!

Pochettino! Hopefully Barca or Atletico get him in the summer, he's doing a brilliant job at Spurs

Spurs are playing so well, it's truly depressing.

They have a brilliant manager who shipped out all the dross that was stealing a living from the club and kept all the ones that were willing to buy into his philosophy. Look at how they're playing this game, they're 2-0 up and they are still fighting for everything and keeping the intensity in the game.

I hope Wenger is watching. This is how you play against West Brom and other teams that park the bus. You need off the ball movement and lots of it.

Poch has never won anything and tanked in Europe. He still has a lot to prove. (So had Wenger at Poch's age)

True but they look the team to beat at the moment.

How did Spurs end up with Kane ffs

We let him slip through our academy.

Still, hats off to Sp*ds they're on fire at the moment.

Sadly the spuds are playing well.

Kane is so good, seems to score every week.

This will be even worse when we're watching us **** the bed against Swansea later.

If Costa leaves, Kane is comfortably the best striker in the league.

They'd have the best striker and manager then?

Yeah, and LB too.

Tottenham have been strong all season. They don't have the firepower of the other top sides but in every other area they're just as good if not better. Thankfully they're Spurs.

I never gave **** about Spurs.Liverpool is the only team i really hate.

Give Spurs Özil and Sanchez and they'll walk the league. That's all they need really, a couple of WC players in their side.

Kane is quality though. 23 years old and he's probably going to finish with 20+ league goals for the third season running. That **** is priceless.

Ooh... Vertonghen might be out for a while. Bad news for the Spuds, good news for us. (Wimmer will step up just fine)

Spurs have a physical edge all over the team which I always like. Rose and Walker can run all day, strong CB's, Wanyama, Dembele, Kane.
.
That should be a yellow for Walker, instead the Brom player gets carded for pointing out the fact that he was kicked.(n)

This Spurs side is still quite young, you reckon if they could keep their squad together for another year or two with Poch still in charge (I think Barca will come calling soon tho) I think they could win the league unless Pep really turns City into the machine he wants them to be. Because for a while there seems to be a ceiling in the PL where the winners are good but still have visible weaknesses, going all the way back to probably United in 2011. So it isn't inconceivable that Spurs might actually do it, they're built on very solid foundations with guys like Kane and Alli only going to get better. Biggest thing for them is their depth in attack though.

They've only got so long to win something, anything before the bigger clubs start picking off their best assets...

I'd hesitate to say that should they not win anything this season then maybe one or two of their stars might be persuaded to find greener pastures. There's only so long that you're willing to be plucky losers - we know all about that.

3-0

Good finish that, looks easy and basic but it's not.

jesus christ

Superb from Kane. The world stops when South American midgets play like this. (I like this poster!) (y)

Damn, the wankers hitting form at the right time again. I even saw it coming back before their away games vs Saints and Watford because they had the same fixtures last season at the same time as well and won both. Man City away next and Liverpool away in a couple of weeks, but after that it looks easy for them.

If we don't beat Swansea by 5 now, I'll be dissapointed.

If we had Kane we would be out of reach every year by this time.

Nope, we wouldn't. With us, the problem is really not with the players.

I had 5 figures on Spurs -1.

I'm sure there's plenty that would drop second for sixth

Serious question: if the league positions ended as they are at present, could we buy any of Spurs players? There's a few that I'd be happy to take.

Do it, do it!

OK. If you insist...

As the game unfolded on RAWK, it suddenly dawned on them that our players are better than theirs.

"Really wish we had Wanyama in our team instead of Can."

"No chance. If you are taking a Spurs player then it's Lloris, Aiderweireld, Vertonghen or Kane. Better than what we have in those positions."

"Rose would be my pick of Spuds' players for our system."

So, even though we're 'not in the title hunt', over half of our team would get into theirs.

Just need to convince them about Dier, Eriksen, Alli, Dembele and Walker now.

Next 17 games should do it.

I can't wait till they finish fifth in a two horse race.

It will really be something if Liverpool can't get anything in their year without Europe.

Otherwise Klopp may never really get the chance again. His system will drain them with all the extra games and they'll likely become just like his Dortmund side and constantly have a half dozen players in the infirmary at all times.

I'd love nothing more. I think they're a good side when all fit and I'm not one to place too much emphasis on their defence, they can outscore many a team. I think they'll suffer though without mane and perhaps that defender of theirs.

I think our next three away games are crucial, they will I'll be tough,

You make it sound as is if human beings treating each other well is a rare occurance. The issue in question goes well beyond partisan football. Any other response that was less than what was given would be a disgrace
Didn't mean t to sound like that but the fact that it happened and was reported I thought was worth posting.

Man Utd fan from Redcafe:

"
Can't watch the game. Are Spurs really that good? Did we not spank them recently?"

Oh yeah, I forgot about Man Utd's glorious 1-0 spanking of Spurs.

Here is another great post from RAWK

"They're top 4 contenders but not really title contenders.
Their underlying numbers aren't as good as us, city and chelsea and they have europe plus a thinner squad than city and chelsea."

Our underlying numbers aren't as good as theirs you know, despite the fact we have had our main striker out for a significant period of time and most of our main squad out to injuries and have had to play twice the amount of games as them yet we are above them in the league with a better goal difference.

Not to mention the fact we have finished above them for years now.

But we aren't a threat to the mighty Liverpool and their world class levels of depth LOL, we are just top four contenders, they are a shoe in for the title.

Join the club mate, obnoxious club with even more obnoxious delusional supporters, wish they would get relegated so I didn't have to hear about them everytime I watch a football match.
