I would go through this thread and pick out some funny ones, but I can't bring myself to do it, the thieving, salty bastards are furious and are lashing out, calling us a small club, a bunch of cheats, divers, dirty, etc...but most irritatingly calling Poch names for celebrating a draw.
Yes the same Liverpool fans who were treated to the fucking can-can by their team after getting a well earned point against the mighty West Brom a few seasons ago.

****s to a man this lot.

I think we should show a little compassion for the Liverpool faithful because unlike many of us they understand the full repercussions of yesterday.
What they saw was their hopes of top four and champions league next year flying out the window, they aren't good enough, Salah can't score two goals all on his own every time.

Thicko Liverpool fans I know saying that VAR would've corrected both of these decisions.
VAR will confirm the Lovren touch, making Kane onside, so unless they change the offside law that one would've stood.
VAR will only be used to correct clear and obvious errors, so Lamela's big toe maybe being offside would not be a clear and obvious error, so that penalty will also have stood.
Knobs.

Horrible team of cheating wankers. Diving to deceive the referee and kicking and shoving opposition players all over the place when they don't get their own way. The funniest thing that's happened in recent years was the petulant men-children in white kicking lumps out of Chelsea players when Eden Hazard won the title for Leicester.

That’s not a recent change, it’s been like that for a long time.

This. I keep doubting myself because everyone is talking like it’s a recent thing. Unless I’m going mad it’s always been that way.

The only difference could be a new interpretation of what constitutes a touch by the defender.

Several years ago (maybe 20?) deflections were excluded from that, but being played onside by a deliberate touch by a defensive player has always been the case.

Liverpool fans know he missed the penalty and they went 2-1 up soon after right?

What the hell are they complaining about with this one.
The worst thing is that Liverpool were completely down and out before that penalty. The save clearly galvanised the players and fans and that led to them pushing on to get their second goal.

If that first penalty hadn't have been given, they wouldn't have scored their second goal.

It cannot get funnier than 2013/14.. that Stevie G slip after saying 'this does not slip' aptly demonstrating life's irony, and in the same match getting absolutely done on the counter so badly by their ex-favourite striker, who proceeds to celebrate with the scorer he set up as well :D All to produce one of the genuinely biggest bottle jobs the league has ever seen given they were actually cruising to the title.

Brings a tear to the eye..

Good honest opinion. Before our 2nd penalty, I had a scouse fucker on the phone asking what the score was. Talk about blowing your load to early :D:D
Same thing happened to my son, he rang them back when we equalised and they refused to answer :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

For those who don’t think there’s a media agenda that’s pro Liverpool, there would undoubtedly have been nowhere near this level of analysis and repeat viewings if it had been the other way round. I just can’t even imagine it.

Virtually every headline or story I read makes it sound like both goals came from said penalties, too.

There’s also been only a cursory mention of Salah being offside in the build up to their second goal.

We was superb and to not give us credit says all you need to know about them.

I said in the match thread before the game that they were under most pressure and with all their bleating they have just confirmed it.
