Don’t know why I’m getting involved in this, but you’re ignoring how late on Kane missed his pen - 87th minute. It’s therefore perfectly reasonable to argue that had he scored we would have won. To refer to the 3-5 vs Utd and the 3-4 vs City - where both were archetypal games of two halves - as evidence to the contrary is much more of a reach than to suggest an 87th minute penalty was an opportunity to win the game.

I'm just stating nothing is certain or guaranteed, they scored in the 91st minute, we scored in the 95th. just because your the better team and dominant conceding could of got them a quick equaliser and lifted them enough to grab a winner, but no 1 knows what would of happened.

how many times do commentators call it that a team should be 4-0 up even though it's 0-0 yet 2 of those chances came in a 30 second spell

And if the lino had done his job last night it would've been 1-0.

sorry Wrong

if you had typed that before replying to my previous I could understand. if 1 thing changes in a match, it doesn't mean what followed would of still happened(y)

Are you really that pedantic? Picking up through people's posts to find inconsistencies? Maybe it wouldn't have finished 1-1, but it still should not have counted. 0-0 with West Ham's confidence flying and Liverpool's defense cracking. They may well have lost.

no I'm not being pedantic at all, I'm stating a fact, no one knows what would of happened after. it could of ended up being 5-0 to WHU after, or 5-0 to Liverpool. what you posted isn't a fact, as you posted "would've".

I read every post and if I feel a reply helps someone understand then good. if you don't want someone to point out a fact I apologies and either ignore me or my replies.
