Due to City & The Blue SCUM losing, I'm already feeling the pressure of needing a win today. Imagine what pressure there is on our team already.
Actually the fact that they lost has calmed me down a bit, no more pressure!

I think he is better at RB personally.

We do miss his pace but not his mistakes. I still think he is a decent player.

Walker was often called out by some on here those brain fat moments as the city fans call it... I'm of the view he compensated for those with helping out in defence with his sheer pace. Toby knew Walker had him covered. I still miss him. Anyhow he's part of the past.

It's the pressure of catching up and not passing on the gift given by City. We need to keep up with Liverpool, they not dropping off at all. They in with a shout and we too can get there....

Maybe third time lucky..... 1st time Leicester, 2nd time Chelsea. Almost at the halfway point and we in touching distance of the top two. Remarkable when all things considered, injuries, squad reinforcements and the stadium delay. Just remarkable, makes you think what excuse does Chelsea and Arsenal & United have.

Everton fans

"Sad to say based on recent results this could be another West Ham debacle. We seem toothless in attack no finishing in front of goal even when they are sitters. I feel no love here at all. I hope the boys prove me dead wrong."

-----

"
I like spurs. Excellent team right now. Can’t see us getting anything 0-2
We really need a big result against one of the top teams"

-----

"
I fear spurs more than United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc

So with that in mind we'll probably get tonked.

Merry Christmas blues x"

-----

"
Score first and they are toast.

And boot Dele Alli. Thanks"

-----

"This will give us an indication of where we are. The gulf between City and Liverpool is vast, the gulf between Liverpool and Chelsea is a big one as well, but, the gulf between position 3 to 6 is not too great, so...let's see how we go against the spuds."

-----

"We have to win this game otherwise the wheels have well and truly fallen off."

-----

"This is where we see what Silva is made of. Some poor results recently another one and Sunday and we couldbe bottom half behind teams like Brighton and wolves Leicester etc which isn't good enough"

-----

"
more chance of santa actually shimmying down your chimney than us beating our bogey club at home this christmas..

not in the form we are in. would take a huge transformation"

-----

"Think this is the type of game SIlva will do well in, struggle against crap teams playing for a draw but an actual football side coming for three points i have confidence in him, this is the first top 8 side to come to Goodison for him, really have a good feeling about this one, 2 or 3 1 to us"

-----

"It'll be either a 1-1 draw or we'll win. No way are Spurs winning this."

-----

".we’ve struggled to break down teams who come to Goodison and defend in numbers but we’ve performed reasonably well against the better teams away. It’ll be interesting how this game pans out. I can see Spurs scoring, it’s just whether we can take our chances at the other end.

I fear we’ll need 2 goals to get anything from the game."
Some comedy gold in there. ?

Grand Old Team:

Not a single one of our players would get into their team.

Son or Erickson MoTM. Spurs very clinical, wasn’t a 6-2 match, 4-2 would’ve been a more accurate reflection.

First , Spurs were very good. We won’t play against a better performance this season.

Second the ref and linesmen were terrible. So many decisions were given for Spurs but when we were in the same position they wasn’t.

Thirdly , we were not fit to be called a football team. The passing movement and control were abysmal!
Pickford was erratic and as bad a goalkeeping display I’ve seen in an Everton goal.
Silva , out of his depth and sinking fast ?

Immedately after our match, Everton fans have started a "This club is a joke" and a "Time to Sack the Manager" thread on the Grand Old Team . I've never been prouder of this club.
