Maybe crazy. But My view nonetheless. Where are you going to get odds like that from? Not like it hasn’t happened in other countries/Sports. Company owned by Thai billionaire. They were a point from being relegated the season before? How many games did you watch where they got away with blatant penalties. I’m not saying it was top down. But like points shaving you can give a team an u fair advantage. Didn’t they also have zero injuries the entire season. Both Vardy and Mahrez were supposed to be out for weeks with injuries. And then miraculously recovered. There was a big thing that got swept under the carpet about blood doping.

Just because it’s crazy. Doesn’t make it untrue.

We battered them that match, but Kane missed chances, hit the post, and then Poch couldn't change the game from the bench and Dier fell asleep at a corner. Perennial Spurs problems.

I am not saying it was the sole reason we didn't win the league, just that from their quotes it seemed their only goal was to beat us and that was it as if they didn't care about any other game in that period. And to say so in such a manner seemed unprofessional at the time to me (especially Cesc on MNF).

To be honest I had largely blanked the end of that season out of my mind until it popped up today. We should have beaten Chelsea that day being 0-2 up, but we didn't. We also dropped points to West Brom at WHL (was there). We threw it away ourselves.

Anyways what are oppo fans saying? We're lucky? Good.

We played a lot of games with a small squad, if we had played 40 games that season I’m sure we would have won.

Kane got injured I think and maybe son for a period.

Playing one game a week makes a huge difference

Is it the international break again? Why are we talking about a season from EIGHT YEARS AGO :banghead:

I know most Chelsea fans lack opposable thumbs but they must have said something about the game on Monday

Thread on the Shed End has only just started:

  • Maybe we play a low block and do to them what everyone else does to us?
  • Our best chance of someone up front scoring a none penalty goal imo? Stick Reece up front!
  • Clearly need to shut Maddison down, I would put Caicedo on him. Then also need to close down Kulusevski on the right wing, and in particular force him to go on the outside rather than cutting back in. Udogie and Bissouma are both good midfielders :cautious: not to be underestimated. Our three will have their hands full. If Mudryck is fit I think he could do some damage down that left side, spuds wide defence is not that good even though their wide attack is strong.
  • Good chance of taking points here, players coming back from injury and it's Spurs will the Chelsea hoodoo strike again?
  • It's about time someone put a dent in their season, and nothing better than a revenge of the Poch. I think we will set the team up like the Arsenal game, James should come in which would be a big plus. I think we will play Silva, but a big risk against the speed and movement of Son
  • Son, as talented as he is, works best with a feeder. It was Kane. Now it's Maddison. The challenge is to disrupt Son's source.
CFC Net
  • Well I simply cannot wait for this one :arghh:
  • I expect we'll be much better in this game , they won't put ten men behind the ball .Sadly for us they will put the ball in the net . A number of times.
  • Thank Christ it's a Monday, at least I'll get a decent weekend.
  • Without Mudryk and Enzo we will struggle. If James is back could we risk a 3, 5, 2 against Spuds?
  • Blimey, just looked at next weekends fixtures and a lot of the teams around us are playing winnable games. If results go against us we could be playing Tottenham on Monday either placed at best 14th position or at worst 16th position.
  • We should play an 8-1-1 formation. It’s the only way we’ll get away with a single-figure defeat
  • We're nearly there anyway , four centre halves , two full backs and two holding midfielders ...He's a coward .
  • I've got a tactical tip for Poch for this game. Ask Sanchez to stay in-between the two white sticks. Seeing as two of the last three goals we've conceded were because he wasn't. Just might work.
  • 3 xG Lane
  • As DWMH pointed out, Spurs haven't been quite as good as people think. Have played the bottom 4, and beat 9 men Liverpool, needing an own goal
  • Who can neutralize Son Heung-Min? Would love to see some sort of marking on him.
  • Three Point Lane!............................................................................................for them

We do well against teams in the bottom half this year.....

*Checks table to see what half Chelsea are in*

Ahh yeah, bottom half

Do you realise how ridiculous this sounds at this point? They were supposed to be injured but weren’t so it must have been fixed? Are you suggesting divine intervention and God was in on the fix? Just let it go, they beat us by 10 points, and this is the what our opponents fans are saying about us thread

Read the next sentence after your bolded bit. TBH I don’t really care if you think it’s crazy or not. Thats my belief.

😃 Fucking love these. But it just doesn't feel quite right reading all these compliments from opposing big teams 😂 Especially Ch£l$ki! It's like I am in a parallel universe!

What year is this and who is the president?
