Thread started by a Gooner. Descending into bitter slagging again. Few reasonable posts but by and large bitter. And we've been brought up..no surprise there.

I'm starting to think most of the members on their are 15 year old kids

Ooooosh :D

As much as I agree.... when your players celebrate just beating 10 man Leicester to go 2nd like they've won the Champions League, not sure any Gooner is in a position to criticise another clubs arrogance!

No, the Europa League winners will be seeded by coefficient along with everyone else. Sevilla were in pot three this season.

OK, my bad, I forgot exactly what the details were. That now makes sense, I seem to recall the original poster saying that we would benefit if Lollerpuddle won the EL rather than Sevilla. Sevilla are above us in the co-efficient tables whereas Liverloll are below us and would still be even if they won it. (y)

We're a good chunk ahead of Liverpool. Which won't change even if they win it. But I'd rather they didn't. Rather they had to play Europa again next season. Pricks.

Both City and Liverpool being in the Europa could potentially be very beneficial for us. I expect them both to be stronger next year and be challenging, this may just throw a spanner in the works for them

Agree
The more of our rivals that play EL the better. Woolwich will be in CL but it'd be an absolute dream if Pool and City were in there. Especially with their respective strikers injury records. United will probably keep hold of LVG which will help too. Leicester coming third in their group and dropping down to EL after Xmas would be nice too. Is it asking too much?

I'd go with whatever gave us a better chance of being in pot 2 in the CL draw. Being in pot 3 would mean a much harder group and it would be really good to get to the knockout stages.

Then you want Sevilla to lose. But I'd rather Sevilla won and Liverpool didn't get Champions League.

Unfortunately, it probably is. But I like the scenario.

Also, I don't care too much about the co-efficient if Spurs can become a force who fight for the title every year.

It is a bit of a conundrum for sure, Liverpool fans would be insufferable if they do win the EL. But I want us to have a better chance of making the knockout stages ..... but the Liverpool fans ......... but I want ..........

Edit: Couldn't get the exploding head emoticon to work!
