While your points are valid as to the falling viewing figures in this country and ticket sales, I don't think it's because people are losing interest, they are just fed up of being ripped off - having to pay for Sky and BT, overpriced tickets. Lots of people who want to watch just get a Kodi box or go to the pub.

A good enough reason as any, and I think there are many. I lose interest when I'm ripped off, dunno about you. Is why I still love music but rarely go to gigs.

No its not, are you Millsey's brother? Have you tried buying a ticket for our league games this season?
Well the top tier will be empty and it probably have some empty seats for some europa league(if we are in it)/carling cup matches

i'm a bronze member and was offered a season ticket last year like many i have no intention of having one, not anytime soon anyway. games are an absolute doddle to get tickets for unless it's one of the big sides and it's not uncommon to see a few hundred empty seats at league games. for our europa games last season we got 26k vs qarabag, 33k against anderlecht and 34k against both monaco and fiorentina. we'd only just about fill the bottom tier at wembley with those numbers. even in the cl we could end up in a less than glamorous group, how many are going to turn up to watch us play apoel/plzen/brugge/salzburg? even pot one sides like cska or benfica won't see us fill more than half the ground.

Like last time its different for the champions league. I remember FC Twente at home and it was electric. Europa is very different to the Champions league. i will go just to hear the music associated with spurs.

You're wrongly assuming that we have full control of tickets. We don't!

The top tier may not be used which potentially only leaves us with over 50k seats as wembley can only hold a limited amount of games at full capacity

Then you have the issue of the middle tier, I don't know exact figures of how many club wembley seats are taken but daily mail suggests all of them are already taken.

So effectively with Wembley you have a 34k seater stadium if we cant have the top tier and the middle tier don't take up tickets

Why do you always point out the negatives of something?

Beats I think you're wrong on the capacity for CL. Sure I read we can utilise the full 90000 for some , if not all, of them. I'll see if I can find it and post on here.

I thought i read somewhere that the limit is set at 50,000 for "non special events" and Wembley?

i'd be interested to hear how many fans you think we'd get at wembley for hull at home for example?

I was disagreeing with the fact that tickets are an absolute doddle to get. I too am a bronze member and in charge of booking for a group of mates and this season it became harder and harder to get decent tickets. There are also rarely several hundred empty seats and if they are these are usually ST or corporate no shows, they are certainly not unsold. I think we will sell out all our PL games and CL games when we go to Wembley, league cup or ropey league games are always a bit hit or miss.

I'm sure if the club didn't think we would sell most if not all of the tickets for the majority of our games then we would not be investing hundreds of millions of pounds in a brand new 60000 seat stadium, or do you think that will be about 75% full for most of the games?

all depends on when we play them, and how next season goes, and finishes.

if we have another good season next season and finish in the top4, and the game kicked off early in the season, our sales would pretty much sold if not sold, Hull might struggle to provide the away.

if we were having a great start and pretty high up we would again pretty much sold out, or very much involved at the end of the season.

if we won the league next season and Hull was the very 1st game it would be sold out.

the only way it would really suffer is if we have either a mare of a season next season, or if we are having a mare of a season when the fixture arrived

So, what are fans of other teams saying?

Chelsea - Conte will wipe the floor with the rest of the league and Jose is a traitor ?

City - Pep has to earn his wage. There are no passengers at Citeh

United - We're going to win the Champions League next season (hee hee)

Liverpool - Klopp is a victim of a conspiracy from uefa
