I guess they probably don't know the thing about restrictions on the number of matchdays at Wembley? The NFL couldn't use it if they wanted to set up a proper franchise in London.

I don't think they let things like facts and reason get in the way of jealousy and bile.

So Liverpool fans think they will be able to spend more than us and we will struggle in the transfer market financially due to the new stadium?

Shit, I'm worried now, imagine what they will do if they outspend us in the transfer market.....

Oh wait, yeah, finish below us again.

I guess no one told them they are spending a lot of money on their stadium as well

Following Twitter rumours about Adrian going to Man United, West Ham fans started to discuss how much money their keeper might fetch in today's market. One poster said "£8m max", to which the response was:

"Levy would get 25 million for him so he must be worth 15 million" :ROFLMAO:

Utd forum slightly strangely having a row over us in a thread called simply 'Tottenham Hotspur' - and ending up turning into a bit of a love-in

Good ground. Shit fans. Shit team.

the newcastle of london. had they not been in that city, they'd of been relegated a few times too.
-----
My least disliked London club. Always had decent sides, particularly in the eighties. And were reminiscent of Atkinsons United at that time, playing stylish football, winning cups and being nearly men in the league. Used to have a good away following, nasty c***s at times
------
Me too. They always try play football against United and that's normally a disaster for them.
------
Levy's biggest problem is his deluded impatience. Most Spurs fans I know don't share his belief that they should be in the Champions League and anything less than that is failure. He needs to know their place. With the plastics involved, they're usually going to be 5/6. They should be having a serious pop at the Europa, imo.
-------
yep, agree with that... probably 5 or 6th is where they should be based on turnover, but they don't carry much debt so should do a lot better in the transfer market. being notorious chokers doesn't help, and nor does having the same manager merry-go-round as newcastle...
--------
Awful in the market overall. Baldini keeping his job after what he did with the Bale money is incredible. Soldado, Paulinho and Lamela

-----
Baldini is now only in charge of player sales apparently

I know a number of Spurs fans, match going, they run the Fighting c**k podcast & a few of them look like they should of been in Lock, Stock
biggrin.gif
Very sound lads though. Wouldn't be top of my list of people to start an argument with either.
---
their fans certainly aren't as c***ish as the likes of arsenal, chelsea or west ham. for some reason most of their fans i've encountered don't have an irrational hatred of us like pretty much every other club do. maybe it's to do with how much we make arsenal fans cry.

Fave London club. Team with Ardiles, Hoddle etc were good to watch. Before them, too but you little lambs weren't even a twinkle then. Bless.

Don't mind Spurs at all. Think their fans are generally pretty good at home too
------------
Top club, Spurs. Arguably my second favourite.
-----
So in conclusion Ginners was right all along
--------------
don't remember him saying they are a shitly run, money hungry club who sell their best players the moment they get on the verge of challenging the top sides, take their fans for fools by trying to distract them from what's going on by changing the manager every 5 minutes and are the biggest chokers in the league... if he did though fair play to him

What a bizarre thread

I suppose when you consciously choose to support a club that's wins everything you will be a bunch of Smug twats

Was browsing the Gareth Bale forum on redcafe when i came across this gem:

"Rupert Lowe should have a statue outside OT, so we can use it as a toilet. He refused to sell us Bale whilst he was the owner / chairman of Southampton (he hated us with a passion), so Bale went to Spurs

Bale's a bittuva gobshite also. He proclaimed his favourite player was Giggsy & yet didnt stand tall & say he was only moving if it was to United. I've a feeling it was his childhood sweetheart that wanted a taste of the London life & Bale maybe thought United would sign him at some stage soon after, anyway.."

Sigh :/

The tribal caveman rivalry between football fans is laughable.

Everyone's as bad as each other.

...Doesn't matter who you support.

For the most part, yeah I agree. A lot of the time, once you strip away the animosity between teams there's little difference. Hardly surprising seeing as we're all just people with a common interest in football.

However, I do think there is a certain type of personality that can be attracted to a particular club (for example, Chelsea), and particular traits do tend to appear.

I tend to consider pretty much every Liverpool fan I know to be a deluded fuckwit. And they tend to think I have delusions of grandeur.

In conclusion, fuck West Ham fans.

*edit - not literally :stop:

Aston villa fans on Ade links:

I'd trust Sherwood's history on this player over a few clichéd fans fears any day.
10 goals a season easy with the right attitude, plus a bit of experience.
Not buy of the century but he's no Heskey !

Would be an absolutely awful signing.
Fortunately, I think this is all lazy journalism. Tim will know better.

I've not seen him break sweat for years so jogging is out of the question.

Well he only scored 1 more goal than Heskey did last season!!

Still haven't got to grips with Sherwood yet have they?
