Except we haven't really, you have to go back to 2008 when we had a tight result qualifying for the europa/uefa cup and even then it was against the Polish champions

In the qualifiers we havent struggled(as opposed to the group stage) especially against the third best team in Malta
We've struggled against lesser teams many a time though, although I dont remember ever playing this early in the season.

But, my point was, pre-season really doesn't tell us anything about the seasons performance.

I remember a Darren Bent banging them in pre-season, all of us fans excited... was that the year we were 2nd from bottom after 8 games? Can't quite remember in all honesty!

Judging any team on a preseason match is stupid.

There isn't an equivalent team to Burkarama in the English league system, they basically lost in normal time last night to an above average pub team. West Ham will be lucky to finish the season in the top 15 and will be even luckier if they finish with the same manager. I can see the players turning on Bilic once they realise they're not good enough footballers to meet his demands and he'll either walk or get the sack.

They've gambled their entire future on a transition season just before moving grounds. If it goes wrong for them they might not recover and even if they fluke a good season, the best they can hope for is 7th or 8th. They should have stuck with big Sam but then the owners are pretty much gambling with tax payers money and not their own, when it goes tits up the dildo brothers will flee the country while Miss Piggy goes into politics and finds a way to ruin all of our lives "in the name of the queen".

Little miss piggy is doing the muppet character a disservice! Brady being held up as some sort of role model and strong woman is hideous. Her "start" in business? Rich daddy arranged for her to go to work for a friend of his, Sullivan. She then became said friends bit on the side. She's a blagger who has never really done anything off her own back.

I tip my hat to anyone who can make something of themselves, especially with no obvious talent! Even the likes of the TOWIE and Made In Chelsea lot. I tip my hat to her for making a lot of money and 'achieving' success etc. The thing that grates is that she's held up as some sort of role model for women and young people. She really isn't.:p

Even though she may have been born with a sliver spoon....she still had to get up and do the things she has so we can tip our hats slightly lol.

There are many others out there born into wealth that do jack shit and are waited on.

So she should be admired for having a career handed to her on a plate? I have no respect for her whatsoever.

Yup... when the playing field isn't even, why glorify the winner.

A bit like watching Chelsea or City win the League - "Wahay, you won the league... well done. And to think of the infintisimal odds you faced!"

Exactly. When someone is given such massive advantages in life I really don't see why they should be admired for their so-called 'achievements' at all.

I wouldn't consider her a winner though.

Organized a job by daddy.

Still has to sleep her way up

Still does a shit shit job

I've got nothing against people born with a silver spoon, per se, as long as they create value in their own right. This hag hasn't, she's destroyed value & continues to do so

Would bang tho

Well. Some.

Elon Musk - silver spoon, very quickly grew out of that proving himself in his own right. Admirable fellow in many ways, although a dickhead personality wise

Our Hugo - same (not the dickhead bit)
