I'm not one to lick the moderators assholes, but this site really is easy to navigate and find shit, and is visually very easy on the eye. Compared to that shit show RAWK (first time looking at this site, it's fucking confusing, silly inbreds) its fucking glorious.

Cheers wankers. :finger:

Yeah, There's nothing quite like browsing through another teams fan forum to make you appreciate decent web design.

We have some great posters and threads on here as well. Go on an american forum and they have a thread name the last film you watched thread. People just name off films with no description or rating of how good the film was. It is just one massive list of film names and totally pointless.

Exactly. And on here we have a poster who gives ratings and descriptions of films but doesn't name the film! Complete opposite!

Do Watford fans have a local (ish) rivalry thing going on with us?
I think Luton are seen as their main rivals.. They were once, but Luton's demise over recent times may see that diminish.. Us and the Goons are probably seen by the younger generation as main rivals

I'm going to have to disagree on this point, I'm afraid. Lots of draws may mean dropped points for us, but they also mean dropped points for our rivals.

Taking your logic, let's say we beat Leicester, WBA and Swansea and lost to Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea and Stoke.

We've got 1 point more and yet...
  • Arsenal are top of the league
  • We've had the piss taken by fans of two of our closest rivals
  • We've lost to Liverpool for the umpteenth time in a row and given Klopp an early boost
  • Liverpool, Everton and Stoke are all 1 point closer to us
  • And our goal difference is almost certainly worse while our rivals' goal difference is better.
You may be a fine doctor, Sir. But your definition of 'better' isn't the same as mine.
Oh shit! Owned!

Post of the year!

It's a cracking post but going by the same token if you take those 3 wins against Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool instead (and we really should have won the first two) we are in a much healthier position, probably sitting 3rd before tonight's game.

However the sentiment that draws can be good results is one I agree with, however the key to our success this season is going to be turning draws into wins, something we did well last season with so many late winners.

I see your point but if you flip it the other way its not bad as bad as you've made out.

E.g we drew with Chelsea and Leicester. I would have been more happy to beat Chelsea and lose to Leicester.

Your way got loads of rep so that's cool I guess.

The odds aren't in your favour if you're advocating that 5 losses is better than 8 draws because that's 5 teams who are 3 points up on us.

What if those 5 teams are relegation fodder?

We've had 8 draws this season

Stoke
Leicester
Everton
Liverpool
Swansea
Arsenal
Chelsea
West Brom

1 arguably 2 of those teams are relegation fodder...

Out of those which teams would you happily take 5 L's for?
