Considering the injuries Arsenal City and Liverpool have had this season, they've been very lucky at Spurs.
Yes, we have been so lucky this season with our lack of injuries

Opposition fans probably think that unless Kane gets injured then we're 'lucky' with injuries. What they don't realise is that injuries to people like Dembele have already cost us several points. They base their opinion of our team on pundits views and motd.

The thing about Spurs this year is they have had incredible stability. For the most part, their best XI have played together regularly. Poch hasnt had to make a ton of lineup changes due to player availability.

On the other hand, we have changed managers, had the most injuries of any team in the league and for the third season in a row have tried to bed in a number of new players.

If we could go three months with our best XI playing together regularly I think we would easily move back into the top 4.

Nope, that's Newcastle. Next conspiracy theory!

Not really been to key players though. Dembele was first injury to really impact
I would disagree. Eriksen being out in the beginning of the season really hurt our opening form and contributed significantly to our 4 points from 12, or whatever it was.

The fact Dier and Dembele have covered so well and subsequently become first choice doesn't change the fact Bentaleb and Mason were both first choice when they got injured. It's simple - we had the squad depth to cope and Liverpool didn't.

My mates in South London tell me Spurs were clearly best team to come to Selhurst Park thus season.

Seem to hear this more and more from opposing teams fans.

We do generally tend to control a lot of our games, just need to be more creative and clinical at times.

Bentaleb and mason were our starting midfield last season. It was only because they were injured we used dier and alli. Dembele started the season for us then got injured. Son was banging in goals before his injury. Vertongen is part of the best defence in the league.

But he played 90 mins in both the defeat to Utd and draw against Stoke?

A couple of views from Chelsea fans regarding Pochettino:

Pocchetino?

Doubt he'd come to us if Spurs make the CL. Didn't think I'd ever be writing that sentence.

Pocchetino would be my first choice

Does everything we need. No controversy, plays decent football, brings the youth through

That said no way in hell he comes

Someone made a good point actually about Pocchetino - his teams have consistently been knackered come April time due to the way his teams play. That would not bode well for us - but the argument against that is that he could learn to get his teams to negate this by squad rotation and using the Cups for youngsters etc and squad players.

I wouldn't be against his appointment, but its just something to be weary of. But as has been mentioned, why on earth would he leave a club where he has a decent level of control and optimism to join our circus

They seem fairly pessimistic and unanimously accept that they're about to be hit with a transfer ban.
