Tbh I don't dislike Merson his alright.

He ain't the brightest academically but damn I give it to him because he tries with what he has and does well enough to get points across.
I actually have a lot of respect for Mers and his contribution to football he was a flair player and got to the highest professional level he could he managed a club although briefly and admitted live to the world he had an addition problem ...on a light sided nature his funny. He isn't a dick head like Charlie Nic.

Mark's here to piss on everyone's chips.

My old man works with a guy who also works at the golf club that redknapp is a member at (250k a year membership) and says redknapp is a really nice guy, always has time for people and will chat to anyone.

The same golf club basically forced lineker to leave because he was too much of a twat.

I can vouch for this. Got myself three memberships for this course and spoken to him using each alias...

That’s cool. But being a nice guy down the golf club is pretty much how Redknapp has got on in life. In fact it sums him up. It’s like the woman in the office who makes everyone cakes to cover up that she’s shit at her job.

Lineker is actually good at what he professes to do - on the pitch and as a presenter. I don’t want to be his mate so couldn’t care less what he’s like off it really but then that’s me.

The best Interaction with a footballer I have seen on a golf course was Ian Wright who knew the guy I was playing with and they had a quick chat but he made the point of coming over to me and shaking my hand ... most just ignore you or maybe nod.

Was about to diss this, but just saw Queenwood is reportedly over £200k, madness.

But Dele is "divey". Probably the worst for it in the league at the moment, and the fact he is English is why it is amplified in the media. If he wasn't ours the abuse he'd get on here would be massive.
no mate....look at the start of this season. Dele was getting kicked all over the park without refs giving him free kicks or yellows. Didn't see any ref to that.
And the Vardy comment is absolutely on point.
Not to mention some beautiful dives from Sir Gary

And as for Shearer:
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/439096/Chelsea-Jose-Mourinho-Alan-Shearer-diving-row
"But Shearer was yellow-carded for simulation, after he dived to try to win a free-kick, in his last England appearance, at Euro 2000 in the 3-2 defeat by Romania.

When it was pointed out to Mourinho that Shearer had been booked he said: "And for elbows, no?"

That was a reference to other incidents involving Shearer, including another one in 2000 when he was accused of deliberately breaking Malta defender Darren Debono's nose with an elbow."

I love Dele but the way some on here are defending him is ridiculous. Fact is if he played for any of our rivals he'd be receiving Wilshire levels of abuse on here, I am absolutely convinced of that. As for the pundits.... finding isolated clips from a 15-20 year career to prove their hypocrisy is amusing. Dele will have a 15 minute hi-light reel every season in comparison the way he is going.

In my opinion he should have had penalties against United and the Van Aanholt challenge on Sunday but rather than accepting the refs decision it seems like he wants to even the score and get the penalty he feels he deserves. I worry that it will end up costing us in one of the big games soon.
