I no longer watch sky 's live scores programmes because the likes of Nicholas, merson and Thomson are unbearable, smug dinosaurs.

I watch BT instead, not great either but better than Sky.

The link below is an article that takes them to pieces for their comedy opinions on Hull's new manager

BT sport score is 1000000% worse than Sky's show. It's an embarrassing copy with the most cringey, look at us format

I wish they'd let some writers and bloggers on rather than fill it up with ex-players. Even the most biased professional writers are better than Merson and Nicholls.

He was shouting off about the new Hull manager the other day, because he's a foreign manager he's never heard of, so of course he is in no way qualified for the job, that Hull are doing him a favour because now he'll be known all over the world and can base his career off it. But apparently Paul Clement (one managerial job, sacked at Derby, but importantly is English) is a great appointment for Swansea.

I don't understand the British media. How Can Chelsea be media darlings? Nothing about that club is nice. From the fans to owner nothing likable. Even their players are massive tools. I hate the media

Because they create headlines, be it negative or positive. The obscene amount of money they spunk on players creates some of those headlines. On the flip side we are trying to be conservative with our transfer dealings as we don't have a bottomless pit like those ****s do, this in turn I imagine is probably boring to the press, despite poch trying to play more homegrown players whether it be through our academy or transfer snips like Alli or Dier at 5m and 4m respectively. These amounts of money are not headline grabbing amounts therefore the press aren't interested.

We're going about our business the correct way so anyone who doesn't like that can go fuck themselves quite frankly, I would much rather be under the radar so I don't care how the press perceive us.

Possibly, I was thinking more along the lines of just total ignorance and stupidity.

Particularly as Wenger is the longest serving Foreign coach in the Prem and they have about 6 English players in their whole squad. Thompson was talking gibberish as-well they replaced a British coach in Rogers with a foreign one. If they want to watch English players being coached by English managers then why don't they go watch the Championship.

Was a big part of my childhood.

For old times sake

Ah, great times. James Richardson - small coffee, giant cake, Rude Gilet, Vialli, Zola, Baggio, Weah, Ronaldo, Gazza, Roberto Carlos, and countless other quality players whose names I can't remember. Not to mention nearly every club buying about 20 new players every summer. They should dig the show out of the archives and show it as retro TV. I still remember George Weah's epic run from his own penalty box before scoring.

It seems on Sky they see us as punching above our weight and a nuisance to their narrative.

After-all this season was supposed to be Pep vs Jose Mk II [with a pinch of Klopp].

Even Conte arrived with half the fan-fare they got.

We got even less than that.

It's odd since they were so far into the Leicester story to the point they rescheduled matches so Leicester always played before us in the run-in. That was unfair since it meant they didn't have to feel the pressure of us closing the gap. Instead we had to keep playing catch-up.

Maybe it's because Poch and co don't give much away. They don't pontificate and try to get the media on our side. Their work is done behind closed doors and we see the fruits of the labour out on the pitch. Neither does the board publicly give false bravado.

It's not all of Sky I should add.

Graeme Souness and Gary Neville have spoken very well of Spurs in the last year. I prefer it coming from them then the tabloid crew on Soccer Saturday actually. It shows we're doing something right.

I know we are not media darlings but we don't get treated as badly as some people are making out, I don't think Arsenal get talked up any more than us for instance..

Because everyone knows Arsenal's season will collapse in February as usual.
