Nothing to see here just the legendary Aaron Mclean (yeah me neither) stating we can't enjoy those moments. ??‍♂️

There may be some awful pundits in the UK but you should be happy that you don't have to suffer listening to Freddie Ljungberg every weekend. You could pick a guy ar random from Arsenal Fan TV and that guy would probably be less biased when commenting Arsenal or Spurs. Yesterday on Swedish TV, it genuinely felt like he was close to tears while complaining about the refs and VAR. Also, he went mental about Conte's behaviour on the sidelines but had absolutely no problems with Tuchel's behaviour. Biased but also thick as shit.

End of rant.

Ah yes, the classic "deserved", quite poor from a former pro who should know that football doesn't work like that. Every team has been on both sides of it.

Also, a heinous incorrect use of their?

These tweets are funny.

Like celebrating a last minute equaliser away from home to one of our main rivals is strange ?

The only thing weird is this twats reaction to it.

The irony lol.

This is one of the most annoying things about football fans at the moment. Criticising others for celebrating big moments. It was a last minute equaliser in a really tense Derby match. Of course we celebrated. So did they when they went 2-1 up.

Moments like that are what football is all about, emotion, passion, release. Take that away and it’s just fucking tennis.

Tennis was miles better to watch when there were no fans allowed!

Can I just ask, why is there an ex female player on every analysis panel now? None of them have any relevance to the Premier League. It just seems a weird token effort to have them on. I am all for equality but I don’t see their relevance. It’s like having a 70 year old ex pro on, they’ve nothing in common with the game today so why should they be in the studio. I’d much rather have Richards, Defoe, Dawson even Merson on. If tv companies want to do more for the women’s game put more money into it or put more games on.

You would rather have Merson on than a female ex-footballer? Ok mate

I think Carney is a good pundit. She knows infinitely more than Richards if you ask me. She’s got 140+ caps for England so she’s not just been pulled off the street 10 mins before broadcast.

Yeah she is good and she really knows her stuff. It's just pure sexism to not be happy with her on a panel considering most male ex-footballer pundits are rubbish.

I played a pre-season friendly against him last season and had a brief chat with him in the bar afterwards, where both teams were mingling. Seemed a really polite, shy person, but this is simply bullshit of the highest order.

Why is it always, “Celebrating like they’ve won the World Cup” etc.?

I'd much rather have journalists, tactics writers and female ex-players who all have a sense of media training and an ability to express their opinions on camera than an ex-PL player who is only there because they used to play in the league and have no idea how to construct and express a coherent opinion.

How good they are on TV is infinitely more inportant than their background.

And I haven't watched much Karen Carney so can't comment on her specifically.

She always impresses me when she’s on. She’s clear in what she says and is usually fair handed too.

I agree and we should be celebrating - any last minute goal is always going to be celebrated because its the goal youre celebrating that snatches a point/all three. The thing is we also have a go at teams who have celebrated like that - arsenal against palace springs to mind.

That goal and point could be crucial at the end of the season and mentally destroys the opposition

It's sort of hilarious, I feel he has put a serious effort in to be more objective, but yesterday I think we completely broke him. ?

I would have tolerated him if he was a decent pundit, but he is just horrible. Despite being around the league for years, he mispronounces the names of every single player out there, except for the Arsenal youngsters, who he calls by their first names, and who he constantly reminds everyone that he knows and "texts" now and then (that's cool, Freddie). And, of course, his analyses are always presented without any conviction at all.
