And lo!

And there's the problem, we're too fragile about this stuff. But I know i'm farting against thunder here and not many people will agree, but I think people expect too much, take stuff way to literally and are far too easily offended by it. It's all generally fairly balanced stuff.

🤣 Absolute quality. I'll use that one going forward 😂⚡

A great video on YouTube showing Spurs DID adapt to play City, at least in respect of our system/shape. Interesting stuff and very much promoting the idea that we deserved the point that we got:

I suggest the lo celso haters who tried to say he was hiding watch this. 100% pass completion is insane and a lot of it was under the press

I wasn't annoyed at hearing carra and Neville bleat on about how naive Ange 2as being and that he needed to be pragmatic and we got a 3-3 draw out of it with a very depleted team.
I'm watching Aston villa v man City and all I'm hearing is how brave villa are by taking the game to city and how having more possession against them is unheard of.

Erm...hello??? We literally did the same thing a few days ago. Muppets!

To be fair Villa absolutely destroyed them! 22 shots to 2! We could’ve been 5-1 down at half time.

Yes, but we were a heavily depleted team against city and we still held our own.

Even before many of those villa shots in the second half the pundits were creaming themselves over villa despite the fact city were without debruyne, rodri, Grealish and doku.

Just seems like we're naive and everyone else is master class in the eyes of some pundits

Also, city were away and missing Rodri and doku.

They've lost every game when rodri is out.

Rodri is certainly City's glue. They have become hugely dependant on him.

Although I do think they'd manage to a degree with De Bruyne and if Gundogan was still there.

Therefore they have a new midfield essentially and I don't think Kovacic can bring what Gundogan did whilst Nunes isn't close to that level yet

Actually, just looked at City's line up.

No wonder they got taken apart. They essentially had no midfield.
Ajanki stepped up and Stones, whilst he is good there, thats normally cause of Rodri bringing balance. Then Rico Lewis.

Pep obviously used it as a night to try something and it back fired.

Doku was a big miss for them and they always drop several gears without Rodri. Still, they can think whatever they want.

Commentators and pundits should be made to qualify each remark and opinion with a 'TBFtoSpurs' rider tagged onto the end of it :D

Failure to comply will result in punishment of a genital nature.

Not good enough for SC I’m afraid.

They must in addition list all our injuries, with estimated return dates live on air, and then provide an Excel spreadsheet comparing to all other PL teams both past and present.

At no point have I said that I thought he was shite or I didn't rate him.
Then you’re overrating carragher IMO. Carragher was a Harry maguire (the half decent version) - decent and would be in the England team now but nowhere near the best of his era. Carragher was miles away from the likes of ledley, Stam, Rio, Vidic, hypiia and the two biggest tossers in PL history (Terry and Campbell) - Neville is up there as one of the best PL right backs

You can add Sami Hyypia to that list who was easily the better CB of the two in his time at Pool. You can compare them to our partnership of Dawson and King, JC was Liverpool's Michael Dawson. Solid, dependable, but not top class. Hyypia was the class act.
