our league form has been shocking of late....but what will happen if we qualify for the champions league and redknapp isnt offered the engalnd job?

Now both of these seem quite unlikely at the moment but stranger things have happened, although form has been poor, surely qualification for the champions league (which was surely the target at the start of the season) is seen as an accomplishment and redknapp wouldnt be sacked.

Now if this happens, does Levy say well done lets crack on for next year if you're not going to england, or does he say thanks for qualifying, now sod off so we can start a fresh with someone new?

I also feel redknapp may have already been sacked if the idea of compensation from the FA wasnt such a money maker!

Opinions??

Tough one... However, If Redknapp qualifies for the CL then I don't think he should be sacked.

However, I feel his relationship with Danny boy may be untenable, and he may walk as it will be best for all parties.

In an abbreviated form, I will repeat in the threat where this question was posed, previously:

If we qualify for CL and Levy decides to keep him, then I suppose he is more-or-less entitled to have another crack at it - but, I am concerned that he seems to have a bit of an MO for folding at the business end of the season. CL qualification was the aim at the start of the season, but this (yet another) capitulation leaves a bad taste in the mouth even if we attain that now, for the very reason that it is seen as yet another capitulation of a fantastic position. I would have been happier if we had started poorly, but finished like a rocket - even if the position and points accrued was identical to what it will be this season.
