What you wore on the big day?

Following on from my thread 'What to wear on the big day?' I thought I'd follow up with declaring that my 'R'Kelly' white jacket uniform went down a storm at Wembley and will remain a tresured 'lucky' item of clothing for years to come. Does anybody now have any lucky underpants, clothing etc that will be 'must wear' on big matchdays following their use on cup final day?

Well I was skiing, so I was wearing my away shirt and then all my skiing stuff. Sat in the bar in my ski boots, trousers and Spurs shirt. The locals loved it.

Now here is a funny (peculiar) thing !

Today is my 32nd wedding anniversary, I was just thinking about the crappy suit I bought from Nick the Greek up Bounds Green in a greengrocers for £20. It was a bastard brown checked thing with massive lapels, massive kipper tie and massive flares, it went well with my massive hair.

I've been divorced for 20 years from that one, heh heh.

Old blue away top (Thomson era) which has stretched to buggery. Still, thankfully that means it hides the unpleasant rolls of flab better than most of my other footy tops.

Down below I wore shorts and Birkenstocks. Quite nice to be able to stroll around at 2am in February in those. Not to mention my flag. And a big-ass smile after the game.

I walked down my street, round the corner to my mate's house wearing my Spurs woolly hat, my I Love Martin Jol T-shirt underneath my Ginola 14 (Adidas/Holsten) shirt - the one they wore in 1999). I also had the 125 stuck down my back and it was blazing in the wind as I strolled down my own Wembley Way. Met a few yiddos on the way that were quite impressed at my dedication to Spurs. :-D

Only a 5 minute walk too! Was fucking warm in the living room though. Only took the flag off to hang it up - but I sat 120+ minutes in my hat and those two shirts next to 8 sweaty blokes. Nice.

Ahh sounds like the good old days on the spurs away coaches in the 80's, plus add the smell of booze and piss, oh to be young again.

I wore my '63 ECWC final shirt, with number 8 on the back (John White I think?). It's pretty new, so this is the first time I've worn it for a game.

It is now my lucky shirt.

Home shirt. Some fellow yids in the pub shouted everyone with Spurs garb on a glass of champagne - there's nothing like winners piss even if it is a girls drink!

I was going to wear my Spurs converse trainers, but every single time I wear them Spurs lose, so I am binning them on match days.
