Tottenham v Man City

Tottenham are playing some really good football and they create a lot of chances, especially at home.
City haven't won away since the opening day of the season, when nobody knew anything about them, and I can't see that run ending here.

Prediction 2 - 0

This the first time ever that Lawro is more confident then me before a Spurs match. He even thinks we are going to keep a clean sheet! :eek:mg:

He's probably looked down, found a pair of unused gonads and decided they look neat parked on an ironing board to iron out the wrinkles. Deep breaths Lawro!

There's no way we'll keep a clean sheet. We probably wont until Ledders is back.

Rez has been keeping a table based on Lawro predictions in General Football. A shame we haven't lived up to his expectations, really.

Since Jol left Lawro has been overly positive rather than overly negative as he was before. I just wonder if he had a problem with Jol?

What's wrong with Lawro?!
It’s clearly the fact he was abandoned as a child. And even now after being reunited with his family, he still doesn’t share that closeness with his long lost brothers that he craves…

He's been tipping us to win just about every match recently. He'll eventually get one right...

You have to hand it to him - he has a lot more confidence in Spurs than the rest of us. If I was the type to buy into the whole supernatural stuff, I'd say we were jinxed this season.

fair play though, we are still playing very good football. I still expect us to win the majority of our home games bar the ones against the big 4.

According to citeh friend, on Lawro's predictions they would be sitting where we are if he was 'foolproof'(irony?).

Given our next opponents 'ability from distance', a clean sheet?

the only thing that would back Lawro's theory up is that Man City play 5 across the middle so our defence should (I PRAY!) hopefully be able to deal with the lone striker. However, we are (and have been for ages) so shite at stopping midfield runners from deep that players like Stephen Ireland/Petrov/Geovanni will do well against unless we sharpen up

It depresses me that we can laugh about it

As they say, if you don't laugh you'll cry.

I just don't understand this notion that Lawro has some anti-Spurs agenda. He doesn't. He has a pro-Liverpool one, which is understandable, but he and Hansen never say anything against us that isn't said on here; is it OK for us to say our defence sucks, but not OK for an outsider to state the obvious?
