Will the booing be of Campbell proportions?

Players often get supported when they leave Spurs, I know a lot of Spurs fans like to watch the ex Spurs play for Fulham etc and cheer Davies and co on. Gazza started the whole Euro footaball TV watching in the UK when he went to Lazio etc.

I have a feeling the whole mess was so protracted that not many fans will be politely clapping when Berbas name is read out over the loud speaker.

I think we should all hiss. Then again it may remind me of snake hair and I will tear up.

Yes i probably would.

Some may think this is imature blah, blah. But I dont like that way he angled for this move after only one year at the club, plus its all part of the fun to boo players, people take football to seriously sometimes

That said, this is nothing like campbell one bit and he is no judas.

I think that for the thoroughly unprofessional way that he has acted showing total disrepect for Spurs, he will attract the same reaction as Campbell.

Not condoning it but equally could not blame those who wish to show their feelings.

Paul Hawksbee summed it up for me. Campbell went to Arsenal for nothing. Cheer our boys on to victory, sod the opposition.

I think people should bring toys and throw them on the pitch. If they could bring baby strollers into WHL to even further elucidate the action, all the more better

Probably will be. Berbatov has upset a lot of fans with the transfer. However booing usually makes a player play better.

I struggle to see why he should get applause from spurs fans, you should earn respect and IMO and he has not done that. A great player yes, but a poor attitude to the club and fans, if he had worked his arse of until the day he left i might feel differently.

Most mornings i am not in the right frame of mind to work, but i am still here every day and I earn in a year what he does in a few days.

Ginola, Klinsman, sherringham, keane would all get an appluase from me although they left the club they did it with respect to the club and whilst here thay wore our shirt with pride. Somehow i dont think Berbatov was proud be play in a spurs shirt

Could we throw a load of dead squirrel toys onto the pitch????

Or how much to bribe the match day announcer into having a pop at him so we can all have a laugh in return??

Not sure we need to boo though, but no doubt some elements of the crowd will.

I doubt i will either clap or boo. Some people i still hear boo Carrick for some reason so i'm sure Berba will get plenty of abuse. Scumball went to Woolwich FFS on a free the two cases are completely different. Berbs could have stayed in the peak years of his career and helped us maybe to get into CL but he chose to spend those years potentially winning trophies, his decision. Least he didn't go to Citeh for the mega bucks

I hope not, but I very much expect he'll get booed. He did nothing worse than Carrick, but will get booed a hell of a lot more because he was loved a hell of a lot more.

I'd welcome him back and clap when his name's read out.

To be honest as much as he has shown disrespect to the fans and club, the people he has insulted the most, in my opinion, are our players. If anyone should cut the shit down to size it should be them. I'd love him to come away with an injury after an aggressive tackle or something like that. It's the least he deserves for the way he's treated them.

I'd boo him, definately. He was like a spoilt brat toward the end and seemed to have forgotten that he SIGNED a contract with us which said he'd play for 4 years and that we could have forced him to stay if we wanted. When you sign a contract like that it should be sincerely. It shouldnt be signed with a thought in the back of the mind saying, 'there's no way I'm staying that long'.

I think I'm more angry that Fergie got his own way than anything else. At least we got the money we wanted, but if Fergie had just coughed up a few weeks ago our team might look alot different now.

Anyway, booing is part of football, and a fun part at that. Let the booing commence boys, and lets hope it puts Berba off as opposed to spurring him on to a blinder!

berbatov did so much for the club , he in the beggining choose Spurs before Man Utd !!! because Spurs want him more than United , lets think who else player will do that to choose Spurs over United , after that when Berba came here he played superb 2 seasons , he make so much people happy , he said he loves to be in Spurs but he wanted to play in CL , and the board was making oposite than his wishes ( didn`t sign Martin Petrov , sell key players , board was buying players in positions we don`t need and there was holes in the squad . Levy promised Berba that if we don`t play in CL he will sell him and when we didn`t qualify for the champions league what hapens ? Levy refuses to sell Berbatov ! that was the reason that pissed berbatov off . Levy is a lier and got nothing to do with football . I will congratulate Berbatov he did so much for the club with his play and in money , anyone who booo him is a trash , lets see how many trash is on White Hart Lane
