Didn't see the game today as I am staying at a friends house for a few days or even get to follow it on the radio. Seems to me like Ade had a massive mental implosion and tried to break someones leg...

Now we are stuck with Defoe again on his own for another three games.

When will AVB just get a break, he has done nothing but get fucked from all sides.

For fuck sake can anything just give the fella a break so we can actually settle the team down. The guys has done nothing wrong really, except been a victim of circumstances.

I honestly think we are being arse raped by lady fate with massive dildo for beating Manure.

Levy will back him in January. Until then he has to do what he can to keep us within touching distance of 4th. If on December 31st we are, I will be content with the job AVB's done so far. The circumstances with injuries and mental breakdowns are extremely unfortunate.

It probably means Demspey is back in for 3 more games. How many games left before Ade is off to ACN?

It starts 19th January so he should be around December and maybe early Jan

Hopefeully Levy has some mega deals lined up but i wont be holding my breath

He ha been very unlucky with injuries and incidents like today. Ade today should be seriously spoken to. It's not just this match but the following three he has disrupted by allowing his emotions to boil over.

I think AVB will get the time he needs though, we really need to start a little run now though

He's been unlucky with injuries, unluckier than most probably, but do you honestly think he's done nothing wrong? He's made his fair share of poor selections and even worse subs that have impacted our results in a negative way. We've had our share of good luck earlier in the season with some goals too. Defoe's goal against Newcastle, BAE's massive deflectioned goal against WBA, Verthonghen's defllected goal against United, Caulker's goal against Villa, QPR's own goal, Bale's mishit that went in the top corner against Reading.

Funny how one of the biggest AVB supporters on here never seems to actually watch any of the games...

Just saying...

I have to agree with this thread, I feel really sorry for AVB. He has had a lot of stick at home games, by the media and on here, but really I don't think he has done much wrong. In fact I think he has made the best of a bad situation.

In the summer the club lost its 3 best players King, Modric and van der Vaart. At the start of the season we lost another 3 who have all won player of the year awards for the club: Kaboul, Parker and Ekotto.

AVB made it clear he wanted Moutinho to replace Modric, we sold Modric but fucked about on the Moutinho deal and left it to the last seconds and missed out.

In my personal opinion AVB has NOT been backed by the club in the market. Vertonghen was a great signing and Dembele could be good too. Apart from that...Lloris could be awesome but why spend £12m on a GK when you have 3 first team calibre GKs already and only 2 strikers? And only one creative midfielder?

And today AVB went for a really brave set up and was let down by Adebayor yet he will get the brunt of the abuse...and the way he tactically changed it saw us pull it back to 4-2 and at least make it feel like game-on when under other managers we have just floated away.

We need to support AVB, the injury situation is making it impossible for him to get a settled side and until he does he will be up against it.

I agree, but then you say you want a settled team yet he can't decide who to play in goal so i still have my doubts about him. If he starts Friedel next week i'm done bothering. If not then he has my full support, think most will be in the same boat as me on this.

Unfortunately he is a highly paid manager and with this comes pressure to get results because of the nature of the beast.

But so far his reign has been hindered from the start with the press being Harry's mates and his problems at Chelsea plus our results so far.

I'm not pushing for avb out but I have always maintained he won't last long and that's an unfortunate thing for him and us as fans will soon turn on him.

To be honest mate I think he is on the same if not less than Harry, Harry was one of the best paid managers in the league.

ADE Challenge was not that bad, tackle to the boot missed the ball with one foot and caught the player, Yellow card at most or me.

The stadium, supporters and other players had an influence in the sending off!!!

Big 2 games at home coming up, hopefully we will be right behind the lads.Coys

That's fair enough if that's the case but you have to fear the worst soon with the games coming up I really can't see anything positive.
