When will the doubters start having faith in Harry *end of season review*

the heading says it all ...the fella has been magic for us ..when you consider the dross he took over and look at us now? he even has the balls to play Keane and Defoe together ..and its working ..i would never have thought it !
Some excellent signings, great tactics and no end of entertainment.
he has us playing entertaining yet solid footy and he hasnt even had a year in the job yet. the transformation has been incredible.
former doubter now im converted

I always liked Harry to be honest. I'd suggested his name quite a while before he became our manager.

Its certainly working at the moment.

I wasn't keen on the appointment, but going to the Bolton game the next day changed my mind. The mood was so much better, and the performance very good - and much needed.

Since then I don't think I can fault him in any way. Bought what we needed, and kept the good bits of the team together.

Very very pleased with how this season has started, however i'll always have doubts - because it's too good to be true, and i'm scared it'll all end.

Finially I think most people will be proven wrong always a big fan and Harry is proving to everyone, including the FA, he can cut it at the highest level. Onwards and upwards!

I think he got it wrong tonight with the subs. The gameplan was spot on.

Please say you are joking?? HE was giving the players a run out there was no need for tactics

I dont think the subs were wrong, i just think they could of come a bit quicker.

But i love old Redknapp, ive been behind him since he joined. We finally seem to be going in the right direction.

Bently needs the confidence boost if Harry wants to keep him, needs match time also to keep his price up if he wants to sell him. Crouch just needs match time. How was that wrong?

I was thinkin..o god, here it goes..more knee jerk reaction threads to two decent wins.

I was a doubter, especially after seeing us luck our way to the wins against Liverpool and Draw at Arsenal last season.

But the minute I saw our form since the arrival of Palacios, we havent looked back.

I think keeping Palacios fit and at the heart of our midfield is pretty much the key to our success.

Him and Modric single handedly imo hold the key for us now and in the future.

Never. They'll keep quiet and then come crawling out the woodwork with their condescending "I told you so"'s as soon as we lose a match. Just like I'm certain there'll be people on here slating Keane again before I go to bed tonight.

Harry's doing the business at the moment, but these are the first shots in a long campaign so I think it's a bit early to break out the bunting and induct him into the hall of fame. I'm pro-Harry btw.

I agree with every single last word of this post.

I was an Arry doubter. I thought he was the right man for the fight to keep us up, but that was it.

Then we almost instantly improved. Then there was the Jan window, bringing Defoe, Palacios and Keano and look what's happened since.

He is clearly the man to take us forward because he doesn't let his ego get in the way of doing the right thing for THFC. Things like:

Recognising we were weak in midfield and signing Palacios.
Recognising we lacked finishing prowess up front and signing Defoe and Keane and now Crouch.
Recognising we are thin in central defence and signing Bassong. (I hate to think what would have happened tonight had we not signed Bassong)

And probably most of all, moulding the group from last season into a great unit and having faith in that unit and not just signing a new squad for the sake of it over summer.

Arry is a ballsy manager who creates confidence in players by having faith in them and giving them chances. It's turning out that he's not tactical mug either. Fingers crossed he's with Spurs until at least the end of his contract to provide some much needed stability. Who know's what we can achieve. I'm sure Arry can keep the lads feet on the ground too.
