I feel sorry for TT, If Zokora is that good for Ramos, why he is using Huddlestone more ? TT can do good job as bencher if needed.

But I'm sure Ramos is unhappy if TT show against Slavia, don't know why he is thinking TT is right back :-|

TT deserve to be in the squad next season, he is better player than Huddlestone, Boateng .. may be O'Hara and Zokora too.

good luck to him where he goes ..

Id be sad to see Teemu go too, he's probably our only midfielder with any dort of football brain! I just cant understand how he is behind ohara, boateng, gilberto, hudd and zokora?!?!?! Especially ohara and prince, jesus! I dont think he ever really got a run of more than a couple of games in his preferred position of CM in his spurs career.

Cant blame him for wanting to leave though, same as rocha, lee, etc

He must have got horizontal with Juandes wife or something!

Good squad player, though. A lot of people wonder why Ramos prefers Zokora to him, and whilst it's not too difficult to see the reasoning it's a close call, especially after the job he did on Fibreglass at the Lane in the CC SF. You'd probably call O'Shea and Fletcher average, too, but SAF finds them very handy to have aroubd.

What he said.

Even more of a shame is that this wasn't released before the game on the weekend. bet he'd have got a belting response for his 45 minute cameo from the fans.

jol is full of praise for him in his book saying he never complains about doing a job in different positions, unlike some members of our squad, and that he is really well liked in the squad. jol used him as an example of a player that if the board tried to sell him that he would strongly resist. pretty big compliments for any player. is a very good squad player for us but if he wants to leave for first team footie then cant really argue against it

Personally I do not think he is going anywhere - he is a good versatile player that can do a job in most positions and so is a good squad player - he knows he is not top dollar does a good job when fit -

by the way we have no players less fit than ledley- sooner he is not club captain any more the better - please do not misunderstand i just think a captain should be playing most of the time and when he cannot someone else does the job.

Robbie step up!

TSM, although I could be wrong, isnt there a distinction between club and team captain? Although they are usually the same person, the roles are different and can be done by different persons. In his latter days John Barnes, although club captain, the team captain was Jamie Rednapp for the first eleven.

In other words each team had their own captain (Team), the reserves, the under 17s etc, with the overall captaincy (club) be more of an "ambassadorial" role for all teams.

There would be then a role for Ledley as club captain, even in a non playing capacity, and for Keane (although he wouldnt be my choice) as team captain for the first 11.

Very sad if he goes but he has lived his dream, and all of ours. He got to play, score and win a cup for his childhood team. Not only that but he can proudly say that he was in the best spurs team in a generation.

Certainly one of my favourite players in the current squad.

yep sad to see him go - so pleased he won a medal with us - to play and win at Wembley for your childhood team - what a dream - and from finland to Spurs too

incidentally I would guess that Bale King BAE and Gardner have all outdone TT in the sicknote stakes on a games missed/played (or available) ratio

A big mistake. What is Ramos thinking? Almost everytime he played in centre midfield he was good...:-|

If teemu does wanna go...(which Im not entirly sure) I will not be too sad. Great guy great player great dedication and I love the guy, its just I have a feeling we have outgrown him. And even though he always does well when called apon. and I would love him to stay has a squad player. I would not be that disapointed. He served the club he loved well enough and won a trophy while he was at it. And will be never forgoten for his preformance against arsenal and time wasting against chelsea

Perhaps Ramos is simply thinking TT isn't good enough for a team which tries to get into the top 4? And like I've said many many times before, TT is too average for reaching that goal. Yes he is a good squad player, yes he gives always all he has etc. etc. But to be honest he has perhaps 1-3 great games per season, rest he is injured or just average. Sure Ramos wants more.

I'm not happy if he goes, but at the same time not disappointed at all if he does go. Just wishing the best for him where ever he plays in the future.
