Where do you think we will finish now?

I don't think April is scary at all, I fancy us at Stamford Bridge the way Bale's playing. Arsenal at home then Liverpool away is key for me, need 4 points at least from that really. We also need to make sure we take maximum points against Everton. It all depends on injuries & suspensions really though. One injury could really dent our chances *cough* Bale *cough*. I can see us missing out on goal difference, but hopefully i'll be proved wrong, COYS.

What if United have won the league by the time Arsenal play them?! Surely that goes against us. :(

I still don't know where we will finish, there are still going to twists and turns to go for and against us, at the moment it's too difficult to determine where we will finish, all I can narrow it down to is between 3rd and 5th.

Tempted to say top 4. I think we've got a great chance of it. I said 5th before the season got under way. Will just about stick with that and would be a little disappointed with that now but plenty of football left. No counting our chickens etc.

Taking everything into account wrt to this season and last summer's plethora of changes, everyone deserves a big pat on back anyway. There's an underlying calm that we didn't have before. No longer are we veering from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows on a weekly basis sometimes. It'll stand us in good stead for the rest of the season, imo.

Don't think a Fergie team will go easy anyway and it's all swings and roundabouts, We will be facing mid-table dead rubber in Sunderland and Stoke to close the season.

Agree about arsenal but I just have a feeling that city or Chelsea are going to drop out- probably totally wrong but I think there is a real chance

I do too, I think Arsenal are a better team than City and Chelsea right now actually. City would have lost the Arsenal game if the Arse player hadn't been sent off IMO, then we would have seen City only two points above us and Arse 1 point below us. I think where we finish will come down to our results at home against Arsenal and City, win those games and we will come 3rd or 2nd I think.

If we still had Sandro I'd be more optimistic of finishing 4th, I think it'll be 5th. We've got Arsenal/Liverpool/City/Chelsea still to play and Arsenal have just got Man Utd to go.

25 Feb West Ham (A)

03 Mar Scum (H)
10 Mar Pool (A)
16 Mar Fulham (H)
30 Mar Swansea (A)

06 Apr Everton (H)
13 Apr Chelsea (A)
20 Apr City (H)
27 Apr Wigan (A)

04 May Southampton (H)
12 May Stoke (A)
19 May Sunderland (H)

Arsenal fixtures,

Villa
Us
Everton
Swansea
Reading
West Brom
Norwich
Fulham
Man Utd
QPR
Wigan
Newcastle

Arse could be playing Manure with the title already decided too

It's so important that we beat Arsenal now. If we don't then I can't see us getting fourth, unless we pull out a remarkable run of form.

Against a rival for 4th. At home. If we don't win, it could be the difference between CL football and Thursday nights on ITV4 again. We've got to win these matches if we want top 4.

4th at least if Bale stays fit. We are a better team now, not in terms of on the ball quality, but overall - taking all aspects into account, particularly our new level of resilience.

We just look stronger collectively and I think if we win the NLD in a couple of weeks we'll definitely do it. Not even contemplating losing it.

Massive, massive game.

Depending on fitness I think we could finish 2nd or with some shitty luck end up 6th. I think City can be caught this season.

Would be just our luck to finish 4th ahead of the goons and then see them win the CL

I'm actually look forward to the tough fixtures more, particularly the ones at home - think of the performance and atmosphere against United. It just pumps up the players even more which works to our advantage.

It will be the West Ham and Fulham type games that decide if we finish top 4 or not. We have to take the points and then the bigger games will even out.

Trying not to get over-confident after last season, but I can see us going on a run of very good form at some point.

We've lost once since the Arsenal game in November and for a lot of it we haven't been at our best.

Also Arsenal and Liverpool have been very hot or cold this season, whereas we've been pretty consistent on the whole.
