As much as I love the big guy I now think the board need to act swiftly in order to stop this worrying rot that has infested our beloved club.

I know there a lot of avid BMJ fans out there that will shoot me down in flames for this but hear me out before you condemn me.

Never before since the conception of the premier league has a manager successfully turned this sort of situation around for the better, it always ends up with them walking or getting the sack, so why prolong things further. The damage that is being done must end otherwise it will effect the players confidence and moral more and more.

The sooner a new manager is brought in the longer they have to turn things around, and ultimately get us out of the bottom three. Another plus point for bringing someone in sooner would be that they could bring players in come January.

BMJ has moved this club forward more than I dared to dream, but I can’t simply go on giving him my support when I feel he is now hurting the club I love. There is so much crap that has gone on this season behind the scenes and behind his back and in all of this he has conducted himself in such a dignified way that I will always respect him. But unfortunately things have to change.

The other sad thing in all this is how the board will just sweep this entire balls up under the carpet now that Kemsley has moved on. I really feel that the board have contributed massively towards this diabolical situation and at what cost to them (scum bags).

So there it is, don’t all go rushing for the anti Jol bashing sticks as I feel just as gutted as everyone. I only wish it could be different but sadly in life humans have a habit of f*cking good things up that seem to be working.

My final word on the matter is, Levy you are a first class prick…!!

I agree. But the really, really shit thing is, there probably isn't a viable alternative to Jol. Especially with our DoF setup. I don't see why we'd want continuity at this stage anyway...

No Arguments from me, i have been saying this for months, anyone who thinks we are to good to go down, just look at West Ham those seasons ago.

The damage was done when the board made this Jol's last season. Ferguson shot himself in the foot a few years ago by doing something similar.

But relax it's a far cry from Terry Neill taking over and destroying the side, and Burkinshaw floundering in his first few years. At the end of the season Jol will probably be gone but it could be with a cup and a top 7 Euro qualifying position which would make up the best 3 seasons Spurs have had in a long time.

Please explain to me how our results would have been any different if the board ( who have acted badly) had stayed quiet until the end of the season.
Would that have shown our defence how to cope with dead ball situations?Would that have given MJ the courage to rest Robbo earlier? Would that have given Jol the sense to tell his center mids to cross the half way line in away games before we are 1 or 2 down? Would that have given ol the balls to put on AL before TT( who has not had a good gsame since the old king died)?Would that have gven Jol the sense to realise that AL is a right winger and cant play on the left? Would that have taken off Jols blinkers when it comes to Jenas?
The answer to all of the above is no,so stop putting all of the blame on the board and start to understand that the buck stops at Jols door, pure and simple!

I don’t agree with that. The way the board have handled this whole situation is completely farcical, a right bunch of f*cking school kids is the only way to describe it IMO.

It like this: let’s just say that you are making love to you partner one night trying you hardest to put in a good performance for you and her, or him for that matter (just incase the PC police are on patrol) but unfortunately it doesn’t come off as you would have liked. Where do you go from there? I know she or he goes out the next day and chats some other fella up and shags him all night long behind your back and then puts and add in all the papers saying exactly what happened. Then she returns home and expects you to carry on as if nothing has happened..

It ain’t no surprise that it ain’t gonna work is it…

Daniel Levy doesn't pick the team, train the players, motivate them, guide them. I wouldn't neccesarily say he's a huge part.

I was in the US last week and on their tv they had an advert for a drug that cures Erectile Dysfunction. One of the warnings they read out was "If after taking the drug you experience an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours you should seek medical advice immediately."

No shit Sherlock !!!!

The funny thing is though, if you spread the away games out over a season - as they were last season - we're actually two points better off!

We need a good dose of home games and a good run at home.

I'm not throwing in the towel for Jol just yet. We played so well at Liverpool, and United - and in patches against Villa.

We all know that our defence is shaky but we've just got to be patient! We have only had 4 home games - one of those against the club that leads the Premiership. A draw against Villa from our situation was no mean task, a demolition of Derby and a bit of mare against Everton.

But please - if we compare our fixtures to last year's we are only 1 point less from the corresponding fixtures! I know it maybe slightly blinkered, but surely there's hope to found in that. Surely?

[I know a lot of you get pissed off by my constant positive outlook - and I'm not suggesting all is rosy - but there are ways of looking at it that put us in a not such a dark light as is being painted]

I understand your point Stoof and god, we need some optimism as fans, but even you must admit mate, that the difference this year is we are making faaaaaar to many mistakes in defence and the heart just seems to have disappeared from the team.

That looked quite clear last night, we didnt look like a team that wanted to win the game and the incredibly low posession we had in the first half suggests that. Nobody looked like they even wanted to be on the ball.
