Ok, it's been a great window and we now have a strong squad. With that in mind where would our second team finish if they played every league game?

Ade Defoe

Probably battle it out for 6th. What do you think?

I think Holtby would be first team and Sigurdsson would be where he is. 7th or 8th maybe, not quite as good as Everton or Liverpool

Friedel - Naughton, Dawson, Chiriches, Fryers - Holtby, Dembele - Lennon, Siggy, Chadli - Defoe or Ade for me with Gomes, Townsend and one of Ade/Defoe on the bench.

And that could be easily in contention for 6th.

That is assuming your first choice was Lloris - Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose - Capoue, Sandro, Paulinho - Lamela, Soldado, Eriksen.

It'd be unfair to other players if he was to keep playing having not shown anything good yet this season. If the same players play week in week out regardless of form what message does that give to the rest of the squad? Especially when we have some other very good players who also play in his position

defence would get ripped, would struggle to score. 12th

I think Dembele is class but I think Eriksen would take his place as the creator of the midfield 3. Paulinho Eriksen Sandro, unless you drop Sandro for Dembele or push Eriksen out wide.

paulinho hasn't been any better, he should earn his way ahead of dembele, not get it handed to him because he's brazilian and cost a lot.

niall quinn voted him man of the match purely because everyone was awful in that game so he just gave it to the new guy. as for the game against swansea, townsend did the most meaningful things in the game, he should've been man of the match. paulinho just squandered five chances.

He's got the most votes out of any outfield player there. You obviously like Dembele, so we'll call it a difference of opinion. Personally I'd rather see Paulinho in the side though and I'm inclined to think AVB would too
