I want to see a German keeper. They are pumping out quality at that position like nobody's business, right now.

TBH we are not being negative far from it, its just none of these keepers are better then Robbo. apart from James but hes 38 we can do better, I also think Green may be a little better, but cause of his injuries no thanks!!

we are better getting an american keeper like friedel or Howard. And am I the only one who thinks maybe buying Sorinson isnt the worst we can do. If he isnt good enough to start he will be okay as a number 2

As people have already said, none of them are really good enough and certainly not in the top class bracket apart from maybe James on his day but he is 38 and probably doesn't have too many seasons left in him.

It just shows the complete lack of talent in english goalkeeping.

Kirkland please, has potential to be world class if he stays fit also a lot cheaper than a foreign g/k. If not Amelia/Neuer:hump:

I'd as soon have Robbo behind a decent or better defence. It won't happen, mind.

was thinking the same, so just went for Robbo as when he plays to his ability, he would be better than the others

seconded - DJS and I were discussing carson versus green, but neither polled well here. thankfully few pollsters fell for calamity james decent form of late. seems everyone loves ben foster - certain manUre will not accept offers... given these permutations I want to see robbo rebound to regain the undisputed england #1. but spurs should buy stecklenburg

BTW-FYI foster is 25, carson is 22, green is 28, jussi is 33, robbo is 28, and kirkland is 27

This post just shows had Bad English goalkeeping is at the moment, what on earth is happening to our keepers? There are only six keepers who are worthwhile on the list and none of them really make the grade. Over the decades there have been great keepers in their prime Banks, Shilton, Clemence, Wilson it's outrageous. Spain have three or four top keepers, the same as Germany and Italy. Why is this country not producing?
Of all the lot I would still keep Robinson and that's not saying much!
