Team News

Us: Woody The Winner is a doubt with anklewankle, but Daws and the mythical Gilberto approach fitness. Benny & Bale still out and I betcha Ledders ain't even on the bus.

Brum: Ridgewell has anklewankle, while Kapo and Queudrue both have hamstringping. Martin Taylor is suspended for a minor misdemeanour last week.

Form/Runes

We are on a run of WDDWLL at the moment, and away from WHL it's WDLLLW. Our only away wins at Pompey and Derby begin and end that sequence.

Brum's last six read DDDLLD so no great shakes there. The last six at home are DDLDWD with only Boro failing to get something at St Andrew's.

Our league results up there have been 13 wins, 17 defeats and 8 draws. In the Prem only it's one win apiece with two draws. So not exactly an unhappy hunting ground in the past - and we really need to up our pathetic number of away wins this season.

Adjudication

How the f**k, who the f**k, who the f**king hell is Lee Probert? Well we're about to find out as he's the ref for the game. Mainly been reffing in the Championship, his 28 games have seen 63 yellows and 3 red cards this season. Best effort was 7 yellows in the Stoke-Norwich and Norwich-Wolves games in December. He's new to th the PL this season and has only reffed half a dozen games so far. Can he handle the pressure?

Predictions

Lawro: I'm going to go for another draw here. Home games are crucial for Birmingham - that is where they will get the points to stay up. One potential worry for Birmingham is that they have a young team and I'm not sure how their nerves will affect them during the run-in. Also, although James McFadden certainly looks the part they have got to chip in with goals from elsewhere. Tottenham will be buoyant after winning the Carling Cup but looking at the photos in the papers they certainly seemed to enjoy their victory, so it might not be a bad time to play them. Verdict: 1-1

Paxton's Prognostication: How the hell would I know - I'm a small teddy bear? OK we'll shock the world with a great win.

FACTS & STATS

WE ARE THE 2008 CARLING CUP WINNERS!

We've only conceded ONE GOAL in the last four PL games. Wow!

LOST: 10 kilos of fat. If found please do not return to TOM HUDDLESTONE.

L'OREAL has signed up JUANDE RAMOS to promote its new hair conditioner CHAMPAGNE SHAMPOO.

ACCURIST is launching a TV version of their telephone speaking clock. It will consist of TEEMU TAINIO pointing at a scoreboard.

DIDIER ZOKORA remains one goal short of his first goal for Tottenham and looks like doing so for the rest of his career at the club.

Excellent stuff Bof, loved Teemu giving it to the Chelscum. You might be onto something with the champagne conditioner, maybe it could be called "Grant in me pocket".
