Looks like City have blown their chances of winning it.

If Liverpool can avoid losing to Chelsea next week they should win it.

God I hope Chelsea or City win it, I'm sorry I really I am but I can't stand these scouse ****s, they're too smug and sentimental, all this "make us dream" stuff is fucking ridiculous. It makes me sick to my stomach to see how far Liverpool have progressed this year. We finished 11 (?) points ahead of them last season, and now? Fucking ridiculous, come on Maureen!

I can see Chelsea nicking the league and maybe even the champions league by grinding out 1-0 wins for the rest of the season.

Now it's Liverpools. They just have to hold their nerve.

If Liverpool lose to Chelsea but win their other games and City win all their remaining games, as long as their goal difference is higher than Liverpool's, the title is theirs.

I don't really want Liverpool to win...

Too many what ifs... After all, we were a much better team then them a few seasons ago...

I rather the title goes to man city or Chelsea... Hopefully Liverpool will lose surez and collapse.

That's that then, I can't believe how Liverpool have had the title literally handed to them on a fucking platter from dodgy referees to inexcusable dropped points by the challengers. Chelsea will probably send the kids to anfield next week. Literally everything and I mean everything has gone their way, it's sickening.

Do you mean the title is City's? Because they aren't really the sort of side to come through at the last second to win the title are they? :cautious:

I was kind of joking after they clinched the title in the dying seconds of the season two years ago.

I'm not sure I agree about a Liverpool defeat to Chelsea meaning City will automatically be in the driving seat. They still have tough games themselves. Everton and Palace won't be easy games (although Liverpool face Palace as well). Tomorrow's game could be key. Liverpool have a habit of smashing Norwich don't they? Doesn't Saurez usually get a hatrick?

I think Suarez has scored 14 in his last 4 games against them. The rest of the team can take a break tomorrow.

I cant agree they posted loss after loss for years now, £90mill for the last two seasons. Had they not had a rich owner(they wouldnt of been in this position as they would have to asset strip)

Liverpool shouldn't be winning the title and have got lucky this season

However if they win it they deserve to win it because of their performances against the big teams and then Luis Suarez killing every bottom 10 team there

OMG!

Sorry, as a Spurs fan, I cannot stomach the idea of Chelscum winning the league. As for sentimental retrospection, we're not exactly immune from that, so I don't really have a problem with it. In my eyes, Liverpool will always be giants of the English game in relation to those jumped-up chav scumbags Chelscum.

Think the game next Sunday is a really interesting one from a tactical point of view. Rodgers will send out Liverpool to attack hard from the off, its been working fantastically for them so he won't deviate from that.

It requires plenty of energy and then they look to play on the break a bit when they get a few goals up - that's the way Liverpool go about things.

Mourinho will know this full well and he will not make the same mistakes as Arsenal and City, trying to take them on early doors with a vibrant crowd behind an aggressive free flowing attacking side. He'll set up to frustrate and stifle them, and to hit them on the counter - much like they did at City.

Chelsea can counter very well to and if they're still in the game by half time then they'd have a real chance to win it IMO.

I wouldn't write off Chelsea yet, they are capable of going to Anfield and winning under Mourinho. They won at City, and Mourinho is always a factor in the massive games.

Would not surprise me one bit if Maureen sends the reserves next Sunday. I think he knows after yesterday's result it's all over for the chavs and it's now all about the champions league. Yet another thing that's gone in liverpools favour, so fucking annoying.

Amazing how they have literally come from nowhere, what were their odds at the beginning of the season when Suarez was banned?
Fair play to them, they've been the most consistent and entertaining team this season and have taken advantage of some indifferent teams around them who were deemed superior.
Barring Suarez and Sturridge at Xmas time though they have been lucky with injuries and suspensions so it'll be interesting to see how they fare next season with the additional games.
