And West Ham to beat us again

Proof that the football God's hate Spurs once and for all!
Proof that the devil controls football and god sits back and tests the faith of the righteous like the story of Lot

Year after year we endure our footballing hopes and dreams turning into a pillar of salt

That's why I want them to win it...because they've bought it but they use to be shit.

But if Liverpool win it....you'll have people out wanking in the streets for weeks.

You'll have the two Jamie's dry humping on Sky.

This made me laugh like a lunatic!

How can any spurs fans on here what anything else than Liverpool winning the league out of the three clubs is beyond me.

I have no problem with City. Chelscum on the other hand...
I'm just glad that the Liverpool resurgence means that there is another club apart from United that can keep Chelscum in their place.

Anyone putting Liverpool in another bracket to the 'shit-rich' group has lost the plot. The ridiculous amounts of money that they have spent on transfers and wages means that they are one of a few clubs that have a chance of winning it year on year - it just so happened that they went through a period of hiring fucktards to manage the club before they finally appointed someone with half a brain.

As sad as it is, the league will be won by Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal for many years to come, unless another rich owner steps in somewhere else. We are in the next bracket down with the likes of Everton - plenty of history and a reasonable chunk of cash, but no hope of the title without a) a new stadium, b) a genius of a manager and c) an owner who shows some resolve when it comes to keeping our best players.

Out of the three teams left with a hope, I'd go for Man City, and that is purely because I don't know any Man City fans.

Weren't you the person that started the 'Let's all laugh at Liverpool' thread? and were you not the one that hurled abuse at me for suggesting that that thread had become ridiculous?

Had Chelsea all the way and they still could, but the lolers have amazing momentum atm. Theirs to lose, as it stands.

Strangely, that post has left me rather optimistic for the future - we're going to get our new stadium soon (already paid for I think by our years of scraping by), and the funds from that might attract managers who want to build a team, and once they've assembled their team, their players won't want to leave if they're successful and well-paid.

Of course it won't be as simple as that because Spurs but I have hope that I'll see us win the title within my lifetime.

I created the thread two seasons ago after they bought Downing and Carroll for £55m

Amazing how they have literally come from nowhere, what were their odds at the beginning of the season when Suarez was banned?
Fair play to them, they've been the most consistent and entertaining team this season and have taken advantage of some indifferent teams around them who were deemed superior.
Barring Suarez and Sturridge at Xmas time though they have been lucky with injuries and suspensions so it'll be interesting to see how they fare next season with the additional games.

I'm not so sure that they've been lucky with injuries. Sturridge was out for a while, Enrique has missed the whole season, Gerrard missed about a month, they've had both their centre backs out, and although not injury related they had Suarez missing for the first eight games. I'd say that they've just handled the missing players very well.

On a separate note what a surprise to see Jose putting pressure on the referees a week before their must win fixture.

this current liverpool side are on par with last seasons united side, but the competition is slightly stronger. We are still only 17pts from the top, like what we finished last season, and thats saying something, given the poor form and season we are having, and the upheaval at the club. All with no Gareth bale. Liverpool winning the league wouldnt be worse thing to happen, their is no way they can juggle the champions league next season with challenging for fourth without a serious investment in the club. All we need is a slight change in manager and a few minor tweaks, in key positions.
