Just out of curiosity, which member of the playing or non playing staff has served the club for the longest?

To my knowledge Ledley has been their longer than any other player, the management or the owners.

But I'm sure their must be some of the backroom staff who have been their longer.

I'd love to think there is some youth coach or other backroomer telling the kids "I'll tell you what I told Hoddle when he was your age".

add it all up, i would imagine Clive Allen comes close to that - remember, he was at Spurs a long time before King was signed up and, despite a break to go and kick for an American Stupidball team (literally, that was all he did, just came on to kick the egg), he's been back a fair while too...

I swear I saw Vinny Samways working in a kebab van next to the stadium. Does that count?

A few urns have been emptied behind the goals until they decided to stop it.

I suppose matchday hosts count, I'd rather it be someone still involved in the football side. I always find it depressing that the likes of Cliff Jones could be providing light entertainment to corporate box types because they need the money.

Surely there must be some coach, physio or scout who's been there a donkeys age. Clive Allen is a good one, but there must be someone who's been there longer.

Mabs has been there in some capacity for ages hasn't he... Even if it's just to schmooze in the corporate boxes.

Chivers has worked as a matchday host for donkeys years.

Don't find it depressing about Cliff Jones, he don't need the dough, I know that for a fact, they just do it cos they love it and get paid to watch Spurs. And if you've ever been for a corporate meal at Spurs, their interaction with the customers is minimal.

I am nearly 100% sure Jennings still has a role at Spurs in a coaching capacity, he was on radio over hear a few months back talking about his work. He didnt go into a great deal of detail but he said he was still at the Lane I think.

LEGEND, and a real gent I have met him before, at a Rod Stewart concert of all places!!

I love it every time they try and have Pat Jennings talk on the microphone at half-time and not a single person in the crowd can understand a word of his deep Norn Iron voice...

..but then he still gets a massive ovation when he finishes!

In my opinion Pat Jennings should get a standing ovation when he farts. Our club has a fantastic history, we may not have won the most trophies, but we have done it in style, we have done it our way, the Tottenham way. That is the only way I'd ever want it, and I'm proud of the history our club has.
