Maybe something to do with Puyol being at the training centre last week?

Pochettino has been regularly been doing this, he takes them up to the mountains and has them train there midseason

We dont play untill next weekend, and then its against Colchester. I would hope we would play a few of the frist team squad with a mixture of youths in that game.

Its a week on Tuesday until we play our next PL game, so a few days in Barcelona (what is it? a 2-3hr flight from London?) wont do any harm. Will be a good break for them IMO

I noticed this story, http://www.espnfc.co.uk/club/totten...-alli-and-spurs-teammates-enjoy-trip-to-barca
I was just wondering what the logic is in taking the squad to Barcelona for one day between the games on Saturday and Tuesday. Hey, I'm sure there's a good reason, but since we're always whinging about how we have to make midweek trips and then play a couple of days later...

How do you know it's just one day I would have thought it would be a few, I'm sure the weather is a lot better than here so a bit of training in a nice city chance for the players to relax, and a treat for a good season so far. Also gives us a bit more coverage in Spain.

Nice to see the players tweeting it for us mere fans, looks a very happy group.

I actually think it's a genius move from Poch, this time of year, training in warmer weather, it's sort of like a mid-season preseason, also makes the players feel like they are getting a little break, a reward for how good they have been, trust me when I say with this man there is always a reason or a method to his madness.
