Do you reckon at his funeral the priest will proclaim 'Annnnnd it's dead'!
I hope the priest does it while they've mistakenly announced his death, just so he can hear how crap it sounds before he actually expires.

Sky dont hate us - the world is not out against us and do you not think other fans think the same?

It is as if we are seeking validation from pundits for Spurs, maybe i dont see and feel the need but i know we are doing fine and thats all that matters really

bizarre isn't it?

I wouldnt say its bizarre but there is such a large emphasis on what pundits say about us etc and what they say full stop. You can check out any forum and theyre all saying the same. Pundits are like referees in that when it comes to two sets of fans, one will always think theyre against them whether thats a poor decision from the referee or a silly comment by a pundit.

Just an fyi - I mean the two pundits i really dislike is Gabby Agbonlahor and Danny Mills - both are miserable sods who I wanna shoot in the dick. Theyre mundane and shit but in all honesty im not gonna lose sleep over it

SkySports don’t hate us, nor do BBC or BT etc. Sky do have a slight bias to Man.U and Liverpool and a little bit Chelsea and Arsenal as those teams have brought them the most revenue when they were the top4 for a long time but they’re now starting to respect Spurs a lot more the past 5or so years.

The issues you come across are when the pundits are all ex Man.U or Liverpool etc like Roy Keane, Evra, Carragher, Neville combo. But equally there are quite a lot of very pro Spurs pundits around like Hoddle on BT, Jehas, Lineker, Crouch, J and Harry Redknapp, then you have Owen Hargreaves and M.Richards who speak well of us as do Ian Wright and M.Keown so honestly we are no worse off than many of the other clubs it’s just that we were a joke for the first 20 years of the Premier League and only really since Jol,Redknapp,Poch and now Jose and new stadium etc are we regarded as a top top club and as of about 2-3 years ago thanks to Redknapp and mainly Poch, they’ve changed it from top 4 to big 6 narrative.

Also you now have the Jose factor and he’s the pantomime villain he really is so he’s box office for them but to get more views and talking points they naturally will stoke debate on Jose’s ‘negative style of football’ but trust me if he won the league etc with us they‘d all be saying what an incredible amazing achievement It is and this is what Jose does he’s a serial winner blah blah blah

its actually all very predictable.

Oh and Alex Scott is a babe btw I’d listen to her all day even if she is an ex gooner, good pundit.

The reason certain pundits and people have bias towards United, Arsenal, Liverpool is the same reason that people like Abramovich buy clubs in the first place. There’s a kind of intoxicating soft power in these historically successful institutions that beguiles and seduces people. Until we have some of that gloss in the modern era we will always be treated a bit differently.

ffs Every set of fan complains about Sky bias and Tyler sounding like he supports the other team, this is paranoid nonsense - how many times are we gonna have this debate? lol

The media, especially Sky, focus on what makes them money. There isn’t a ‘bias’, just a few talking heads there to generate debate and controversy, which will then become clipped content shared far and wide on social media.

It’s literally their business. Pretty much every fan in the country is consistently unhappy with what these people say about their team...

... of course except for the rare occasions where one of these guys says something we agree with and it’s all “fair play to <insert pundit name>, he’s bang on” and “I’ve always liked <pundit name> he’s one if the best” - ignoring the fact that the opponents’ fans will in parallel be absolutely seething with his take ??

Probably best to start a Martin Tyler drinking game. A shot for every cliche.
