I find that very hard to believe. Players would never reveal their own negative opinions about their club to a friend or relative, it makes no sense, it degrades the club and cheapens their position within it. Plus, not to mention if the club found out about it, consiquences would be dyer for the player.

Im just reporting what the lad said to me. There's no reason that he would lie, and he's been his mate for years. It could be that given the fact jamie hasn't been given a chance in the first team yet he feels like he needs to do more to convince Mr Jol that he deserves a chance. And therefore always feels like he hasnt done enough. Maybe I took it the wrong way then?! I just thought it might be a slight insight into what goes on there.

I thought Jamie O'Hara was from Dartford.

I'm sure many other people do too, but he actually comes from a little village called South Darenth which is about 3 miles south of Dartford. And I know that because I live there, and although he's a bit younger than me, I've kicked a ball around with jamie when we were younger.
His official file says Dartford as he was probably born there, as I was myself.

The observations and comments made by Legend 10 on the Spurs -arse match was very insightful and astute.

Jokes aside wished you were Jol's assistant in the place of chris hughton. Better still, if you can take over Martin Jol, i will revere you as our Special One.

Were we this bad at set pieces in 2004-2005 and 2005-2006?

What's perplexing about this is that in those two seasons we were very tight defensively, by Spurs standards at any rate, and now we appear to have reverted to type.

Same as before and now in 2008, what next?

full marks to him for not starting a new one ..

edit: and it shows that we are still as suspect at the back (but then we all knew that)
